The hours are inconsistent! I live an hour away and this is TWICE that it states online that they are open, only for me to drive up to find them closed. They have fantastic food but not worth two hours round trip for nothing twice! Very disappointed.

This is one of several restaurants in the renovated Waites Building. We were there for a soft opening where your meal was comped if you brought a Toys For Tots; or you could pay with 100% of the profits going to St. Jude's. My spouse and I chose a Sushi Bowl with brown rice; added the chicken and I had shrimp tempura. We added toppings of cucumber and mango and thought our meal was delicious.

Ordered on the waitr app and was ready withing 20 min if that. Went up to the door and called the # to have it delivered to me. Had the poke bowl with a crab mix and assortment of veggies and spicy mayo sauce. It was delish and the ingredients tasted fresh. Have been back since and have never been disappointed

This is one of my favorite go to lunch spots. I always get the tempura shrimp, avocado, pineapple, seaweed, and white rice; topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Omg!! Let's talk about amazing. The pineapple priciest a bust of juicy sweetness that pair well rough the shrimp an spicy mayo. The avocado is a smooth addition that helps provide a filling healthy fat. My only complaint is that it's difficult to get someone on the phone or to place waitr orders. As a hospital employee, I can't always stand to wait 20 to 30 minutes on my lunch being prepared. There should be an online ordering option that actually works. Customer service is mediocre. You wait at the door in the hot sun as your order is being made and your only contact is order placement, paying, and receiving your order. They are trying to remain safe, so it's understandable.

I probably order from Roll Up 1-2X per week. Working at the hospital and having this place right next door is the best. I love Poke bowls and it's a great flavorful, semi healthy option when you don't feel like eating a basic salad. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing sushi concept. You pick and choose every ingredient! I asked for light rice, seaweed wrap instead of soy. Spicy salmon which was precut into nice big chunks instead of minced. Jalapenos, mango and crunch and masago (fish egg) On top. Everything was fresh and delicious! I love getting to see and pick all ingredients! It was $8.00 a roll and we got 9 good size pieces. They have Poke bowls and ramen also

I had never tried Tonkatsu ramen, so I got that and it was amazing! It was a very generous portion for the price (I ended up taking some home) and the wait was not bad at all. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the dining area was clean, and the atmosphere was quaint and refreshing. Greatly enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to be in Birmingham again to go back!

Great little sushi/hibachi place in the downtown area. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner before hitting the town! I got the chicken fried rice and it was great, definitely well portioned (lunch tomorrow!) I will definitely be back.

This is some of the freshest and best sushi in town. Competes with expensive sushi restaurants on quality, freshness, and taste without charging crazy prices. The staff are highly professional and friendly. Everything on the menu is great. You really can’t go wrong eating at Roll Up!
