this is by far the WORST starbucks i have ever been to. i'm a student at uab and quite frankly i'm surprised uab has done nothing to improve this place, or the Hill Student Center location. the workers here are some of the rudest people i have ever met & act like you killed their child right in front of them whenever you ask them to correct a drink that was made wrong. they also always charge me extra anytime i ask for LESS flavor or sugar than the normal amount which is not fair as a customer. drinks here never taste the same and everything is VERY inconsistent, whether it's the price, flavor, or color of the drink. there is one worker in particular who is extremely rude and outspoken against customers, and i'm sure most students know of her because she is so blatantly rude to every customer who walks in. she works at both locations and has worked there for over a year now, and i hope she is fired soon because i know she does nothing but put fear and anger into my soul, along with a terrible coffee in hand. BTW - this is what comes in an iced shaken espresso.

Overall this Starbucks has not been the best. I am a UAB student so it is the most convenient. Today I ordered and after spelling my name again I looked at my friend to order since I was paying for both of us. Out of no where the lady exploded and told us how she couldn't hear anything over the music and people talking behind us. I'm assuming she took my gesture as me making fun of her or something. I understand she was not having a good day but she didn't make me feel too good after either. Also I ordered light ice and it is also written on my cup but the whole cup is filled with ice.

I love ordering on Grub Hub 20 minutes before I go and pick up. When I get the the coffee was finished, but my spinach feta wrap was no where to be seen. I stopped Maritza and asked where it was. She walked and away and never gave me a response. The service is terrible, slow, inconsistent and the staff is rude

Always order a strawberry refresher with light ice and extra berries. Always have at least half a cup of ice and no extra strawberries. I’m starting to believe the lady in the back doesn’t read the cups

I ordered a double chocolaty chip with almond milk and affogato shots. I watched them use an already used pitcher in which they used whole milk (which I can’t drink because I’m lactose intolerant) that they didn’t clean..: they put almond milk in it so I had a mixed milk drink... and they threw shots into the blender instead of on the top as affogato shots are. They didn’t even put the mocha drizzle on the top as a double chocolaty chip should be... I was already late as it was so I just left but they really need to be trained better on how to make drinks. For how busy they are I have no problem with the time it took as someone that works in food service but they really need to be mindful of allergies and the quality of their beverages.
I come here pretty often and I normally enjoy my experience. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing despite it being crowded majority of the time.

Inconsistent beverage taste here. I bought here many times but I never get the right taste as I used to drink because sometime too sweet but sometime no taste. However, I am a customer of Starbucks at Hill student center as well but there is stable taste and always delicious. So, I think Barista of Starbucks at Sterne library need to be trained.
