Service was extremely slow. The cook was overwhelmed.The whole restaurant needs some deep cleaning and a coat of paint.We had cheese fries and the original gyros. I found mine very disappointing. My husband said it was OK.The Purple onion on 280 is much better. We won't be going to this restaurant again.

I usually order delivery from a delivery service. Every time I have ordered from this specific location, the order has been wrong. Either the kitchen staff cannot read English or they do not pay attention to the clear instructions on the order print out. I have even tried ordering without add-ons just simply getting a cheeseburger with whatever is supposed to come on it, and staff still got it wrong.leaving off items that were included on the burger or fries or whatever I have ordered. Picture of cheeseburger and order print out (add mushrooms)NO MUSHROOMS added! (or pickles and onions) which are supposed to be on the cheeseburger as described on the menu.Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions, I do not recommend ordering anything from this restaurant.

I went here but I wish I didn't. The food is very mediocre and expensive for what it is. I got a salad and some onion rings which were both flavorless and I didn't finish either of them. The staff seemed nice enough but I would recommend seeking out another restaurant unless you want flavorless, overpriced food in a generic fast food environment.

Ordered a Club sub and got something that looked as if another customer threw away and they went back in the trash can and served it to me! It didn't have Any Mayo, Lettuce and Tomatoes on it and nor was it Fresh. When I went back in to return it the Block head Manager said No "Refunds" .....Now, I see why they Need Help! You guys better check your food before you leave cause you'll end up with naked used dry Slop!

Ordered takeout online. Order was not ready when I arrived at the time it said that it would be available. I waited an additional 25 minutes before it was ready. Chicken was burned. Fries were okay.

We spent $63 on a very bad experience. We ordered food we have had at other PO locations and it was grossly subpar.- my husband and son ordered a Diet Coke and a Coke Zero. The machine was not working and gave them flat drinks. The clerk offered them sweet tea as there was no unsweet tea. He opted to purchase two diet drinks from the cooler but the two fountain drinks we paid for were not removed from the ticket.- No garlic sauce on Zesty Grilled Chicken Pita. My husband and I both ordered the "zesty" pita for the "zest". The chicken was dry and cooked with no seasoning. I went to the counter to ask for some type of sauce. The cook said there was no garlic sauce. So knowing this he is continuing to cook and offer food that is not able to be presented as the menu states. He offered me a packet of Mayo. My zesty pita went in the trash.We frequently eat at the Greensprings, Hoover, and Hueytown locations. This one is bad.Service bad. Restaurant dirty. 6:00 pm on a Saturday. Drunk crowd hadn't started yet.Hey Purple Onion. We need a refund. Or at least a coke.

I ordered from this restaurant yesterday 03/14/2023 between the times of 11-12 p.m on ubereats. The food was burned, sloppily made,and cold. I ordered a turkey burger and it did not show up as described on the menu. It was missing tomatoes, burned onions, soggy lettuce,and it looked as something was done to it. I took pictures of the meal using the ubereats apps. It is not right to spend money at an establishment and my food is not made right. I can't believe how evil and vile the people who prepared this meal were. I will not be ordering from here again.

We used to live in Birmingham so we couldn't wait to have some purple opinion. Altho our usual place was on Green springs, since we were closer to downtown we decided to stop at this one. HUGE MISTAKE! DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR. Everything from beginning to end was disappointing.... No hummus, no salad, bad gyro with something that certainly wasn't taziki sauce, messed up the order, service was terrible, and as we were leaving saw a cockroach on the floor!! Will never come back to this location. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else! $89 nightmare!

I love the purple onion. One of my favorite sandwiches is their garden burger and onion rings. I don’t know if maybe they were having a bad night but on a recent visit my garden burger patty was cold and the onion rings were fried perfectly but unseasoned.Parking: This restaurant has maybe 7 parking spots for non handicapped and 3 handicapped and at times gets pretty busy. They do have other spots reserved for service at drive thru. Some street parking but don’t count on any spots on weekend nights as it is in a pretty busy nightlife area.
