Came in for breakfast, "allstar" I'm a bigger guy, but I don't like sitting at the stools in front and beside others working and eating. Went to sit at a table and immediately relised the table was too close to the seating yet the table doesn't move so I had to eat with my belly touching the table. Would prefer movable tables. My greeter took my order however 2 people served me so I had no clue who to leave a tip for when I paid. The one who took my order or the one who refilled my coffee..sausage was a lil small would have liked bigger, and the scrambled eggs wasn't enough would have liked more. Coffee was expensive, would have wanted it around 1.50, Thx for your time whoever reads this.

I took 3 African American boys to eat here per their request. They weren't really busy but the bar area wasn't clean. Our waitress came and half wiped it down and left it extremely wet. She couldn't comprehend that the orders were separate even tho we kept saying it. The food was good. One of the boys finished first and accidentally spilled his drink. He dryed it up by himself and put his ticket on his plate. The manager comes over and snatches it up, washes it off and throws it back down in front of him with no words. The young man gets up and goes to pay his bill even tho everyone else is still eating. The next child is finished, as he gets ready to pay his phone dies. He goes to charge his phone(he's 15 naturally everything is on his phone). The manager again zooms in on him. At this point he can't even cook for looking at them and whispering to the waitress. After his phone charges he goes to pay also. Finally my son is still eating but he's 90% done. The manager is just staring at me, to which I respond he's not done but trust me I'm going to pay my bill as well. When he finishes I paid the bill that didn't include a tip for the waitress that mugging us after the manager kept whispering to her. Meanwhile the other waitress had to pay a $30 tab for a white couple that didn't have the money to pay. The manager said they need to call someone to cash app them and kept cooking.

This waffle house of Vestavia, at 31, is pretty decent. Clean and fast service. Sometime crowded but they found the way to speed up, so you only wait 10 min max.The food is the same as always and, for me, is good enough for a fast meal.
Zero stars super bad place to go super slow and they look you down if you have tattoos and look mexican. Racist people in here

Very disrespectful old bat who was a cashier I ask that bat about all the fees because it's my first time coming to do a take out order. The other's always nice few times I been there, I was wanting a break down of the fees 1 was a 5$ fee then 4 fees was 2$and something.

Annoying man sits behind us with his small kids, talking about a hunting trip in a very graphic way. I and my husband were completely ignored for the 30 + minutes that we sat in the dining area. I was disappointed that the waitress didn't even acknowledge us, however she was attentive to the man sitting behind us, so we left.
