My daughter and I were passing through to visit my cousin's farm. We met at the Boligee Cafe and were greeted by fine folks and delicious burgers. We heard how the restaurant was rebuilt by the community after a devastating fire. Feels like home.
I travel all over the country and this place is everything I look for in a breakfast cafe. The people are nice and the food and coffee are delicious. When you first walk in, go to the counter to order and pay, then walk into the dining area and fix your own drink (even if you get coffee) and have a seat. They'll bring your food out to you. I don't think any reviewer could describe the charm of this place, or how go those cheese grits were.

This place is tiny but delicious! The grits and sweet tea were the best I've had. We were passing through looking for a place to have some breakfast and this was only 3 minutes off of I-20. I highly recommend.
