The food is absolutely horrible, greasy, over cooked and dried out. The service was about the same. I’m beginning to think the only reason this place is still opened is due to well known locals running it. This place wouldn’t be in business elsewhere. Visit one of the many other venues in the area who’s food is actually good.

Me and my bf went here for our first time on our way to our vaca getaway. The lady that worked there was so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere gave off a family diner vibes that been there for years even though they just opened. The food was DELICIOUS. We ordered mozzarella sticks, Philly sandwich meal and a cheeseburger meal. Everything was fresh and homemade. The M.S. was so CHEESY!! Best part.... actually left with full stomachs that were not hurting (most new places we visit ended up giving us bad stomach problems). If we ever come back on this side, we will definitely be coming back. I wish I took some pictures of the food, but it was in our stomachs by the time I thought about it lol

If you are anywhere within 50-100 miles around Centre Alabama or Lake Weiss, this Quaint Fresh Authentic Southern Restaurant is definitely worth the trip. Such A Cozy, Family Feel,with food like what use to be Sunday After church dinners at your Grammy's [Granny's,Memaw's or Grandma's ?]The prices are great, the service is Extraordinary and it's a place that you'll want to visit again and again. Our Family gives Hometown Restaurant Of Centre Alabama a gazillion stars

We had an excellent lunch with great service. This is a new restaurant and our first visit. There is a lunch buffet with multiple meat options and plenty of vegetables available. The buffet comes with a salad bar and a dessert. You can also order off the menu for sandwiches and entrees. The restaurant is clean and inviting.
