Despite not looking like the picture, the gyro meat gyro was very tasty! I LOVED the pita bread texture and flavor! The wait was a bit long, but I see that their health score improved drastically. I'd rather have tasty, safe food and sometimes that takes time. Looking forward to returning to see if they improve!

I ate here for a second time…i thought maybe the first experience was a fluke but it’s not. Not only is this more expensive than Prattville, it’s not fresh and I compare it to pig slop. I ended up throwing the food away, I’ll just travel the extra 25 minutes to the Prattville location. This one in clanton is not worth it. I highly recommend you guys stay the heck away from this spot. I never leave reviews but this one got me upset. The bread is so soggy and the fries soggy. The one in Prattville is made fresh on a daily basis as soon as you order it, this location is like they pre make the food a day before and let it sit out. It’s sickening man

I love American deli. I wonder why this location is more expensive than the others. This place charges $12.99 for a Philly while others charge $9.99. On top of that, the one in Prattville is more fresher than others. I came in a week ago, ordered a Philly and thought it would taste like Prattville’s Philly but this one was lacking. It wasn’t fresh, tasted like it was refrigerated and then warmed up in the microwave. Bread was real chewy and I can tell the difference between fresh and a little old. It wasn’t fresh but reminded me of slop. Prattville location, I give props to. The bread was crispy fresh, fries too, and the Philly was fresh. I really don’t get why food places won’t just make it as they go instead of pre making them and reheating it. Only thing that was better than Prattville was the fries because of the salt.

Came in with my husband and Daughter today, I had fish and fries, my daughter had the chicken tender and fries, and My husband had a Philly cheesesteak with fries and wings. We walked inside and were greeted kindly. We sat down and enjoyed our food and the whole time felt welcome and did not feel the need to rush the way you do in some places. It was a great experience. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. 10/10 would recommend. We will be going back soon

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review for a food establishment but wanted to make sure the new management that has taken over this location has done miracles with what it use to be. The staff working was super friendly, I received my order within 10 minutes of placing the order. The wings…..hands down the best wings I’ve had from any American deli over the past few years and 10x better than the food I’ve received in the past under the old management of this location. And anybody that has eaten here is familiar with that bad smell in the building. Well they fixed that too. It’s a lot more pleasurable standing inside while you wait on your food. Was a great experience and will definitely be going back more often now.

I wish I could give this a big zero rating. Been here three times now and have sit for over 20 min (each time) in their drive thru never to be waited on. I couldn't say anything about the taste, the quality.... I'm not even sure anyone works here.

Let's Start off with when you walk in a breeze of stank just hits you. Have ate here 3 times and every time I come in I have to get it to go become the place smells like something died in there. The employees do not speak a bit of English at all. Tired to oder tonight inside and the woman just looked at me the whole time and did not say one word the whole time I placed a oder just really weird owners

We came here because reminded us of home. Haven't had american deli since we moved here. The food was no where like the one from home. They put some white sauce all over everything which was gross. I spent 45 for 15 wings and 2 drinks because I had to throw the rest away. Very disappointed in the service of this place. No greeting just stand there. I quess I should be a mind reader and know u are ready for me to order. Customer service skills have left the building here. Sad to say won't be back

Friendly service and delicious food. It would be nice if there was a sound barrier between the kitchen and dining room to cut down on the noise. Overall, it's a great place to eat.
Ordered a burger with Cajun ranch fries and I think that’s the best burger and fries I’ve had in a loooooong time! Outstanding! Customer service was fantastic as well!
