Had grits and omelet. Daughter had omelet and waffle with chocolate. For a " Waffle House" they was nasty looking over cooked and very flat. Grits was over salted and hadn't put salt on them. My plan is to NEVER GO TO WAFFLE HOUSE

I came in with a huge to go order Monday evening. The waiter (Brian) did an excellent job ensuring everything was taken care of for us. The food was appealing and delicious. Thanks again to the entire staff working. Everyone was busy doing their jobs, polite, and clean.*I especially liked how often the cook and waiter washed their hands and swapped out gloves when handling food!!Money well spent. :) I can't believe we aALMOST spent that same amount of money on just 2 pizzas. Lol

We look for Brain as our server. Well dressed, mannered, and very polite his the best ever. All the employees work together like a well-oiled machine. Thank you

Let me say first the food was good. Their was 5 people including me n wife inside. They must have had a rush as all the tables were stacked with dirty dishes and no one even said hello or acknowledged we were there for about 15 minutes, we had to sit at bar and it wasn't clean. The main cook came in and a female waitress finally took our order. They were 5 workers and they weren't talking or looking at each other either. I think we came in about the time after they just had a blow- up ? Was 6:30 pm Saturday evening. We'll be back as that's a half way trip stop for us. Hopefully the team gets together as friends.

Waffle House is one of the few 24 hour restaurants in Clanton. The restaurant looked pretty clean and they were full. They have booths and a bar for seating. The food and service can be a bit hit or miss. I've had great experiences here and mediocre. Waffle House offers a selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. They have the usual breakfast fare as well as burgers, melts, and hash brown bowls. Do not try to call in an order, as it's rare you can get anyone on the phone. If you want to order take out, do it online. It's much faster and more convenient.On this particular trip, the lady at the counter was friendly but a bit frazzled by the crowd. I had placed an online order for three All Star breakfast plates and hash browns. One of the plates should have had a blueberry waffle. I paid for it but only got a plain one. I have a bit of anxiety with crowds and it just wasn't worth it to head back. Lesson learned. Always check your order before you leave.The food was actually very good, despite the missing blueberries. Everything was cooked perfectly. The waffles were fluffy and light, the eggs were perfectly over easy, the ham golden, the toast was perfect, and the grits were smooth and creamy. The hash browns were especially good, topped with onions, mushrooms, and cheese. My family enjoyed our meal.
