It was 2.5 Stars but we needed to stop for gas and a few of us had to use the restroom so for the quick Off/On I-20 West it gets that extra half star. Gas was $.30 more than the Pilot just 60 miles east of this location. Had I known that I would have filled up there. I think it's because there are fewer gas stations here, whatever. The bathroom was awful smelling! It needed a truck full of bleach and disinfectant! Be warned- breath through your mouth! The toilets are old, hand flush ones so I had to use my foot to flush it. Both air dryers and paper in the bathroom, soap was filled but that was manual pump kind. I wanted to surprise my 5 kids with Icee drinks but all 3 flavors were out of order. Bum deal, but maybe for the better. Probably saved us at least 2 more pee stops. The convenient store had everything you could need- provided it was working or made. Lots of stupid junk and impulse buys, I had an eye roll at the stuffed sloth wearing a face mask and the 30ft phone charge cord. We filled up our gas tank, used the smelly restroom and sanitized the hell outa our hands back at the truck. Back on the road quickly.

I enjoy the Pilot Travel Centers. I shop at the one located at: 4416 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405. I find some great deal and sales there all the time. Only issue I have with them is the Rewards App vs the Rewards Card. In the app if you buy a fountain drink or a fountain coffee and scan the bar code on your phone the icon for a drink pops up in seconds, but if you use you card and buy a drink and then later look on the app, it doesn't show where you got the drink. On the app if you buy 9fountain drinks or coffees you get the 10th free. I was told to call the pilot customer center to fix it. Other than that small issue; I truly enjoy the deals I find at Pilot.

A one. Just pitiful. Pilot makes a big pitch to RV's on the road with a Good Sam Discount, but it's hard to use the discount if there are no places large enough for a RV to pull-thru and fill up. Today was 3rd time in 3 days we've had to leave the Pilot in search of gas.

actually three and a half Stars not quite for this one here is an old converted Wilco it's getting better for doing a good job on keeping the Dunkin Donuts coffee fresh few islands are clean and the bathrooms are staying alive cleaner no longer a pigsty.. feel islands for the most part are kept clean to wish I could get some new employees here to they got rid of the nonsense good job. of course up by mccalla 27 miles north or east pending how the crow flies.. one of the pilots burn to the ground the Flying J so they're definitely got some new employees down here if I had to give them work which is a good thing... but I like to stop here for the Dunkin Donuts coffee I've been stopping here back in the day when it was at Wilco anyway it's still a decent price
