“Great little family owned gem in Cottondale, AL. We always have excellent service and the price is great for the value and quality of the food. The dining room is a little tight, but it is expected as it is a small building, but overall the atmosphere and decor is charming.“

“I often stop here on the way back from Birmingham. Usually the beer is cold and their cheese burger and onion rings are really good. It is a local place and normally have local clientele. They are hospitable but one should remember that it has been in business this long because of the locals.“

“It was Sunday lunch and the line to order at the counter was out the door (when this happens please don’t stand with door open). The line however moved quickly as two people at registers were taking orders. The restaurant including eating area was clean. We seated ourselves with order number displayed on table. The food took about 10 minutes to arrive. Our group of four all liked our food. I had a half El Cubanano sandwich and half local mix salad. My daughter had a full local mix add chicken. My son had a Quesadilla and better half had the Pimiento BLT. (I liked the Pimento BLT better than Cubano but it wasn’t bad either). Spent about $15 per person.“

“Was working in Tuscaloosa and a restaurant with a two hour wait recommended the River. We had the steak filet and the seared tuna. Both dishes were absolutely amazing. The service was outstanding and the whole experience was just classy and comfortable. Brussel sprouts were on special for an appetizer, they were the best we’ve ever had. “Archibald’s is the best barbecue in the southeast! The spare ribs are slowly cooked on an open wood pit. The sauce has a secret recipe that is to die for. I stick with the original order I have enjoyed for years: Rib sandwich, Golden Flake’s Thin and Crispy Potato Chips and a Grapico soda. Yummmmy!!“

“Food was delicious as always. I met the absolute sweetest little girl in the drive-thru last Saturday. She greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly. She said her name was Nae. My bag was missing a soft taco, she apologized and happily got it for me. You rarely see good customer service these days and I greatly appreciated her kind attitude. I wish I could give this 5 stars but while the window was open I overheard another girl making food and rude comments. Every time I come here when she's there she's always being loud, or talking about someone. I'm not telling anyone what to do, but maybe this restaurant should get more workers like Nae. “I came her for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back three times since .I am not big on alcoholic beverages but I do love a good beer now and then especially in summer .They are extremely friendly here and clean .The bartenders are always lovely and I really enjoy stopping by for a beer and chilling with my dog on the patio .The beer is extremely tasty , I lean more towards sweeter taste like the ones that have strawberry or apricot.I have visited my fair share of breweries in the south and I feel this one is review worthy .If you are in T Town check it out .Also extra points for being dog friendly“

“Everything was fantastic! I had shrimp tacos, and they were excellent, but the thing that I will go back for is the salsa. That may sound strange, but the first bite of chips and salsa did it for me. The salsa was so fresh, tasty, and not overly seasoned that it was perfect. I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu.“

“Hokkaido is one of the most popular Japanese restaurants in Tuscaloosa, so if you are looking to go here at a normal time ,expect a crowd. The food here is good, but a little on the saltier side. Most of the time, the food is fresh and seasoned well. The last visit I had, my salad was not so fresh, but the rest of the food was great. I am a sucker for crab Rangoon, but I feel like I get more of the fried batter than the filling. They still taste great, and the chili dip it comes with is fantastic. I usually stick with the chicken Hibachi. I have tried the steak and the filet, but if you get either, you will probably want to dip them in yum yum sauce unless the recipe has changed. Personally, if I have to use a sauce on a steak, i don't like it. I'm not saying the steaks aren't good. I'm just saying the chicken is better. My wife usually gets sushi rolls when we go, and they are delicious. The dragon roll is my personal favorite. All in all, if you go at an odd time or don't mind the wait, this is a great Japanese restaurant.“

Nice and hot. 10-15 minutes for food. Nice waiter.We sat outside on the back porch. Nice breeze today. Great experience.Owner came by and checked on us. They’re opening for dinner very soon. “I'm planning my son's graduation party and want a cake from a bakery other than Edgars. I went to Celebrations today. The ladies in the bakery were so patient and kind! I decided to get a dozen cupcakes so that I can taste and see what I want. I can't decide everything was Sooo delicious! We got: Lemon White cake Strawberry Key lime Caramel Coconut Red Velvet This bakery did not disappoint!!!! I only have until Tuesday 5.19.202 to decide !!“
