While the staff is great, you can tell they are serving recipes from the great depression. The burgers are probably 80% bread crumb. I have eaten here 12 times over the last year and every time I am dog sick the next day. The loaded fries are a huge success.

It was great, i had the fried bologna sandwich. Drinks were huge, and got to go cups to keep enjoying them. Downside is its small eat area, very busy. But still good.Parking: It has street parking a few slots not many handicapped however.Kid-friendliness: I felt it was good for kids choices were great

Serendipitous find. I passed this place on my way to visit the Ave Maria Grotto and decided to stop by for lunch on the way back. It was a great pleasure to have lunch in an authentic family owned cafe that has a 100+ year history. I had a cheese burger and onion rings, and my daughter had "The Eric" with fries. Both were exceptionally good! If I have occasion to pass that way again, I will try to leave room for a piece of one of their homemade pies!

Service was great. Plenty of seating. Right in down town Cullman. So you can venture over and look at Weiss Cottage and the chapel. My friend and I both got hamburger with fries and one chicken finger(We wanted to try the chicken).Something you should know and they probably will tell you but in case they don’t, these are meatloaf hamburgers. They aren’t quite like the meatloaf you make at home they are heavier on the other ingredients rather meat. The hamburger was different and I am glad I tried it though.I would love to come back here for breakfast one day.January 31, 2024

While looking at the menu at Busy Bee, was pleasantly surprised by the menu prices, however, once my food arrived I understood why. I ordered a hamburger, not quite sure what the meat is suppose to be because it clearly doesn’t look like beef. I believe it’s just low quality meat mostly filled with fat. Fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease. I couldn’t eat the “hamburger.” Service was great.I will not be back.

Busy little restaurant in the heart of Cullman. Decided to drop by for breakfast and try it out. Waited maybe 10 minutes for a table, not bad! We sat down and the waitress was quick to take our order. Food came out quick as well. I had pancakes and a country ham and egg biscuit. Very good! We will definitely return.
