Impressively slow service, As if they were competing for some sort of prize. Food isn’t bad but I find it difficult to justify the price they charge for it, especially considering the wait time at a basically empty restaurant with an aggressively average atmosphere.

This visit wasn't even close to our last visit. Getting our order took forever (almost an hour).

Went with my boyfriend on a date and it was very inexpensive!! Our total only came out to $33 for the both of us. There was a mistake with our drinks, but our waitress was friendly and provided quick service. Overall, would love to eat here again! :)

We ordered Lasagna. What we got was *Lasagna Soup*... the flavor of this soupy mess was somewhat ok, but it wasn't Lasagna. It was wayyy too much sauce, so much so that there were no layers or firmness whatsoever, just a soup of watery sauce with a couple of slices of cheese floating in it. This was the worst food rip-off we've experienced in a while, and nothing like any style of real Italian Lasagna.Parking: along the curb, not easy to back out safely.

Our 1st time there. We got a lg Calzone stuffed with Pepperoni Sausage Meatball Cheese and Sauce. It was good but not what we thought it would be. There style is Chicago we are used to Massachusetts or Florida Calzone. The young lady was awesome on 3/2/24. We will be back to try their lasagna.

I would not recommend ordering to go orders from here. The orders are always wrong and there is an extended wait once you arrive to pick up.

Ok, so. I read the reviews, going to the lowest first hoping the taste and quality worth it. Yeah, no. It was like one of your friends setting you up with someone with a “great personality”. I grew up around Italians and Sicilians, worked in both restaurants. Between two guys we got the spinach dip that came in an aluminum tin with 7 pieces of, albeit pretty good, bread. So solid 2 on presentation and portion, and it took 7 forevers and it wasn’t even toasted, and we asked another server for a few more pieces, wanted to charge us an additional $3, within 2min of that, our entrée came out. Then :10min after that, as we’re wrapping our meal, the bread we ordered for our appetizer comes out. We were asked if we wanted it to go…uh no, AND there was no apologies for, well ANYTHING. In short, service was glacial slow, food wasn’t portioned for the price, and it wasn’t “out of the park” great tasting. If the tour bus had let out there and they were slammed, I’d get it. $40 for small portions, and 2 beers and non existent service, just no.

Carlton's is a favorite spot for my husband and me when we come to town for a night out. The last time out, I had the Tuscan Pasta. The sauce was not too heavy, and the touch of bacon was delicious! And, there was so much to eat! I'm looking forward to eating my leftovers for dinner tonight. If you're looking for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere, you have to try Carlton's.

Wow! The Cajun chicken & pasta was phenomenal! Also, you have to try the homemade cheesecake with fresh strawberries& whipped cream! Our server was Kayla! She was attentive to our every need. The restaurant was located in a beautiful historical building in downtown Cullman. We will definitely be back. Try it! You won’t be disappointed ?

The pizza was fantastic. We are very glad we stopped. It has a great old time Italian feel in the restaurant. The pizza sauce was delicious, and toppings were just right. The crust is light and chewy. I would definitely recommend.
