I had the chicken sandwich which they called sweet and mild. It had my mouth on fire and my stomach so tore up I wanted to throw up. The salmon dip was great however the chips served with it were overcooked.

It was our first time at The National and the food did not disappoint! The service and manager were very friendly. We are looking forward to trying other items on the menu but the new york strip was seriously very good from what I hear from my husband and he is a ribeye guy. I got the pork chops and it was good! Potatoes were done very well and the home made steak sauce was the best I've tasted so far!

This place was such a treat!! When everywhere closes so early it was nice to see this place was still open. Our waitress was awesome and accommodating. Will definitely be back. Food was great too!

We went for brunch and it was very good! Had the shrimp and grits, very flavorful but the grits were not the best. Also had the breakfast hash which was a great surprise. The cocktails we're unique and refreshing!We will be going back!

Food was alright - the Nashville Hot Chicken was good but I've had it at at least 5 other restaurants and it always has slaw. This was a spicy chicken sandwich. Huge nitpick but I like that slaw.Anyways, menu selection is kinda odd but alright, and it doesn't state anywhere on the menu that the brunch menu is only on weekends. Overall a couple nitpicks but I enjoyed myself!

OMG! I love this place! It is ALWAYS great. The only thing I can even say anywhere near negative is that I feel like the waitresses are scrambling. Don't get me wrong, they do an outstanding job...but, the feel would be so much better if they felt like they could slow down and relax.

18 dollars for a bacon cheeseburger that took forever to get and was thin overcooked and tasteless, the drinks were good but pricey....Don't think you are getting food that looks like the pictures on the website because it's not even close.My wife's chicken was terribly dry and overcooked as well.
Our meal was delicious and customer service was excellent. The restaurant dining area and restrooms were clean. The price for 4 people was reasonable. Dreher's and Publix house are two of my favorite restaurant in Cullman.

We came in for Sunday brunch time. Place was packed but tables were turning over. We ordered the flight mimosa, the shrimp and grits with grilled asparagus. I really loved the Caesar salad. It was different.

Stopped in for cocktails. Loved the atmosphere and the bartender was great. I recommend the Smokey Old Fashion with Basil Hayden bourbon. The pineapple jalapeño margarita was our favorite in the flight.

If I could give zero stars to this overpriced but vastly underwhelming “restaurant” I would. I’ve been there twice total and will never go back. Months ago I was in town and had heard good things so I decided to try it, but the food was disgusting and there were gnats in my drink. I thought maybe it was just a one time thing so decided to try it again when I was in town a few weeks ago. It was iron bowl weekend and I witnessed an employee (bald guy, I think his name was Michael) storming through the restaurant, throwing drinks, and cursing at customers! As if that wasn’t a bad enough experience, my husband and I saw a RAT crawling around the patio area!! It’s one thing to just have bad food but to have an employee ruin the atmosphere of the restaurant and see rodents scurrying about is entirely different. Don’t waste your money here.

My friend and I were in town for the Christmas festival. It was very cold and we dropped in to ask directions and the place looked so nice we ask to be seated. They were full so we walked on out and started down the street. Beth, one of the hostesses, came chasing after us to say that a table had just opened if we wanted to come back.
