After living in the Detroit Metropolitan area for 26 years, I had become accustomed to good pizza. I have lived on the Gulf-Coast for about 5 years now, and I've never been able to find something that reminds me of home until Janino's! This place has the BEST pizza I've had in a long time. I ordered an 18" Brooklyn, their home-made Mozzarella sticks (sinfully good), a frozen Raspberry Margarita (delicious), and a whiskey/coke. Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. If I could give more than 5-stars I would. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Janino's! ^_^

Be wary if you order for a pick up. Because I live a half a mile away, I tried their to-go ordering online. I arrived there a couple of minutes early, and it was waiting for me. At home, I found it was room temperature at best. Okay, give 'em another chance. Same result, except this time it seems they literally just tossed on the pepperoni and it landed on just one side. I then saw how there was a mystery fee of $5 and a default tip for about the same amount. Didn't see the default tip but maybe should have. I messaged them twice to please explain the mystery fee. Both times they sent an auto-response merely thanking me for asking. Nothing more. I found nothing on their website about the $5 fee. Could be there, but it's buried somewhere from what I can tell. I read in another couple of reviews that their attitude there can be rude. Yeah, I'm sure other people have found them excellent etc. My experience, though, was so bad that I will not order from them again.

Nice clean inviting restaurant. Bar separate, beer served with icy glass. Big menu both pizza and Italian and dessert available. Generous servings. Parking near door. Easy on/off entrance to street. Families and children welcome. Excellent attentive wait staff. Clean restrooms.

We dined in on an average evening and the service was still slow. The food was decent, but I suggest sticking with their pizzas. Better options available in the area.

This review is about their ability to handle gig app deliveries, but this def seems like one of the fakest strip mall “ny style” pizzerias I’ve ever seen. There is a clear pattern of dysfunction and downright hostility towards most people working doordash and Grubhub. This place has expected me to wait up to 30 minutes for orders they don’t start until I arrived. They’ve expected me to provide tech support cause they can’t work their tablets. And they have consistently ignored me in order to help others who came after I did.Tonight, I was standing in line for five minutes and I wasn’t acknowledged until after the lady in charge served two people who came ahead of me. What did I do? I just stood and waited my turn, and when she finally asked why I was here (she didn’t greet me or ask how I’m doing), I just said “I have a doordash for (customers name) please). The order came minutes later and I was not informed for about 7 more minutes. The entire time I’m just sitting there and waiting for them to hand me the order.I was then asked “am I irritated?” Which is bizarre because besides making eye contact and not looking her way while ordering the food, I just stood there and waited for her to hand it to me.Gig app drivers are not supposed to be martyrs for a badly run business like this. I’ve seen it hundreds of times in other places. I’ve been extremely patient with the people who work here, but no longer. If you’re wondering why local restaurants close because of the newest chain pizzeria, look at examples like this. You can’t antagonize the people helping you make money. Ive lost at least a couple of hundred dollars in that time waiting for them, and I’ve never been thanked for waiting.Try the food at your own risk, but maybe pick it up yourself. I won’t be doing that anymore.

Used to frequent for pizza take out. A few years ago the place must've sold and remodeled. The pizza is now inedible and nothing like it was. Haven't been in over 2 years, there's much better NY style elsewhere now.
