“Service is always great and friendly. The wife and I, typically sit at the bar, even though she does not drink, as we enjoy the comradery and conversations with fellow patrons and staff.Food - always good, and reasonably priced! I always feel I am getting what I paid for. Wonderful drink specials throughout the week.Service - Never a bad experience. Bartender(s) are always engaging, accurate and overall fun.Atmosphere - except as mentioned below, it is good! I get the whole, hometown bar vibe, with an add on restaurant.A couple of the times we have gone, there have been older kids playing in the bar area. I mean playing tag, shadow-boxing, etc., resulting in it being a little less enjoyable than normal.I want to be clear, the kids were not AT THE BAR, but at the tables next to the bar, not over in the "restaurant side" of the establishment.I feel for the staff, as I am sure their hands are completely tied in such a scenario.Despite that, we live close by, and should really stop in more often.“
“After living in the Detroit Metropolitan area for 26 years, I had become accustomed to good pizza. I have lived on the Gulf-Coast for about 5 years now, and I've never been able to find something that reminds me of home until Janino's! This place has the BEST pizza I've had in a long time. I ordered an 18" Brooklyn, their home-made Mozzarella sticks (sinfully good), a frozen Raspberry Margarita (delicious), and a whiskey/coke. Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. “Great place to sit and watch a game. Dog friendly outside. The bar inside has a great selection of beers. The staff was extremely friendly, even allowing us to turn up the TV outside. We were half drunk already at noon, so I’m sure we were obnoxious. They were super friendly. After the game an owner of one of the restaurants inside had a nice conversation with us. He was also a Saints fan. Who Dat! Come see the game here, I’m definitely coming back.“
“Came here after Joe Cain day and for the super bowl.Inside had over an hour wait, which was to be expected but was able to sit outside immediately.My date is from New Orleans and was impressed with the spice of the red beans and rice.I had the Gulf Shrimp and fries basketEven with the amount of people, the food came out super quick. Staff was pleasantThe only drawback was there was only 3 sides: fries, Coleslaw and baked beans. Some kind of greenery would've been nice“
“It was hit and miss with the food items.Got the burger which was fantastic. The bone in chicken wings which were as well, juicy, meaty, delicious, also got the boneless chicken and that was a fail, dry and hard breading.Also had a margarita and that was good too.It’s on the expensive side in my opinion. But hey, food is becoming unaffordable for most Americans these days.“
“This place was recommended to me from a friend so I decided to give them a try. Delicious food! A little pricey for lunch. Service was good. The table felt small so keep this in mind if going with a group. It may be hard to find parking depending on when you go. All in all, would definitely recommend. The food was really good!“
