This place has legit Birria. Definitely worth a visit when I'm in Decatur. Friendly staff and good service when I went.

A friend and I went to Casa Santiago today and was about to be seated in the middle of the restaurant by a large party already seated and asked to be seated by the window for the sunlight. We were seated by the window and after about 10 minutes the hostess just came and closed the window. We asked why and she stated bc the party wanted the windows closed because of sunlight when they had been there a while with no complaints. We wanted to know why their request was accommodated while ours was ignored. They had no problem With the sunlight prior to now. I guess being "minorities" in this situation was means for our request not to be met or even compromised. If our opinions don't matter, then my money will be spent elsewhere. I will NEVER go to casa Santiago again. the service was mediocre and so was the salsa.
