Finally got a chance to grab a late lunch here a week or so ago -- yay!Downtown Dawgs has been on my bookmark list for years. Actually, I'm pretty sure I first found out about this place when it was actually downtown. It's since moved to a somewhat nondescript shopping center off of 6th Avenue. That being said, parking is easy! Haha.It was dead when I walked into the restaurant at about 1:45 but the pleasant employee at the register let me know I was lucky to miss the crazy rush earlier, so watch out for crowdedness during prime lunch hours! It's a spacious restaurant, to the point of feeling almost bare inside. There's a TV in one corner and a couple of booths. A large party would probably have trouble sitting together, but it's a great spot for smaller groups. The floor felt a little...idk, not quite sticky, but sticky-adjacent? My guess is it was mopped but not all the soap/cleaning solution got washed away. Least it's clean, lol.The menu and all the various permutations of hot dog + topping was honestly overwhelming! Pretty much any flavor combo you can think of, they've got it. Combos (dog or 2 dogs plus a side and a drink) are still quite reasonably priced for lunch.I was a weenie (pun fully intended) and got a hot dog with ketchup only. I thought chips and rotel was a unique side offering and I looooove rotel, so I got that and a soda to complete my combo.I was pleased with my lunch! The hot dog was piping hot, had just enough snap, and a nice beefy taste. I could've used a little more ketchup and I'm sure I could've asked, but I didn't want to be a bother. Would be nice if they had bottles on the table. The chips were crispy and had some seasoning on them and the rotel had nice large chunks of ground beef and subtly spicy cheese. It was a generous serving and made my tummy happy!I bussed my own table and was in and out in 30 minutes. Easy peasy! Give them a try for a quick and tasty lunch if you're a hot dog aficionado. I also saw on their door they do Chicago-style Italian beef on Fridays...yum. :)

The man of war dawg hit every taste bud the right way. As someone that loves spicy food, this was crazy good. Also I’d recommend that Italian beef sandwich too.

The other day I came here for the first time and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend it.Wheelchair accessibility: I saw a gentleman with a scooter, but had easy access on entering the building.

I have never eaten at the restaurant. Down Town Dogs catered my Apartment Complex Appreciation Day. The food was great, people were very nice.

Honey and I came to try the hot dogs. They have a wide variety of many different flavors to please even the pickiest eater. It is a mom and pop type place. That is nice when you are tired of the same old cookie cutter joint. The people were very nice and made sure our order was just to our liking. Just know in advance as of 11-11-23 there is no public restroom, but you can get your food to go. We made a video so you can see what we ate.

This has to have been one of THE restaurant experiences my wife and I have EVER had. The food was hot and fresh, the bathroom was immaculate, clean and well lit and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back for more.
