When I ordered I only got 2 different items. The girl on the phone, Laura, couldn't even get that right. The food was cold when it got to us and was missing the butter and extra rolls we ordered. I also asked for lots of salt and pepper but, not there. She also put the wrong salad dressings in. Normally I love steak out but this was horrible. She said when I called that she would send back the rolls and butter. We were almost done with our food when the second delivery came.

Steak Out has been one of my favorite places for a very long time, however after several recent orders I would have to say Steak Out has gone down tremendously. The service from the staff is awful (female manager hung up in my face and cussed me out after sharing with her my delivery order was not up to standard as well as things missing from my order she also told me “she did not care because she was getting a new job anyway”) and so is the food! Save your money! Would not recommend at all.

Even with how difficult it is to get this locations business, food was still good. Meat was a bit undercooked this time, though. Need to update the website where you can't order pick up after so late if they close the lobby an hour and a half prior for pick ups.Update. Still have issues many months later, just placing an order. This time, 2 hours before close. Phone line busy for all attempted calls. Online ordering is impossible because it's always shut off. Get your team help or something. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat payday.I've been successful twice in 2023 to get an order placed.

Me & my brother both loved trying the Steak-Out Cheeseburgers like I had Potato Chips & my brother had the Loaded Potato & we both had the Peanut Butter Thunder Cake with a drink like mine was Unsweet Tea & my brother had a Diet Coke for our tastes of our experiences & it was all good & first time trying Steak-Out in Decatur, AL.

I enjoy the food but they really need to get their stuff together. I can call Marcos or papa johns 5-10 minutes before they close and they’ll take my order. I called steak out at 9:06pm after placing my order online and I called to pay for it with a card and that lady told me they were closed and stopped taking online when they close at 10pm.. what kind of bs is that to stop taking orders an hour before they close. It’s like the second time they’ve done that in three weeks so I’m done. Very unprofessional

I ordered 2 plates at 6pm and paid for it. They told me it'd be 1hour which I can understand for grilled foods. By 7:30 I called to see if something got messed up because it had been an hour and a half. The woman who answered literally answered the phone with "we're closed" I said "excuse me I placed an order an hour and a half ago" she cut me off and said "they're out delivering still, but we're closed" and practically hung up on me. I waited 20 MORE minutes and my food still wasn't here. My wife called and cancelled our order and requested a refund and the lady replied with "okay I'll call the driver"...I usually order steak out for lunch a lot up where I work at but never again. This place needs better management or they might as well close. Recommend going elsewhere unless you like cold expensive food and bad attitudes..
