Kayla and Jackson are just dolls!! They both helped me and I realized they were together! Truly makes me believe in love. Held the most thoughtful conversation. I just love RailYard service. Best place in Decatur!

What happened to the food? I have been going here for years once every few months. I must say the staff that I interacted with was great as always and the vibe was very comfortable. Maybe just an off night, the steak was more than subpar, tough and just difficult to eat, salmon was ok but have had much better at Railyard in the past. I hope it is just a random occurrence and food will be back to what made Railyard the best place to eat in Decatur.

Stopped in for dinner during a business trip. Charcuterie Tray was a great starter. Colleagues really enjoyed the burgers. I had the pork chop with Brussel sprouts. All in all a great place with good service and atmosphere.

Great little place with a great variety of food to choose from Had The Shorty...French Dip. Great flavor and the bread was perfect, not too tough or chewy. Looks like they have a decent beer selection on tap.

The Food was great. We started with the Pretzel Board, which was absolutely the Best Pretzel I've ever eaten. And loved the Grain Mustard. Then we had the Grilled Ribeye. Awesome flavor, and cooked to perfection. We were a little disappointed they were out of Garlic Mashed Potatoes, but loved the seasoning on the fries! The waitstaff was friendly, and helpful. Loved the smiles. if this was near my hometown, we would certainly go back, often! D-Ray

We came here with some hopes as we had heard good things. We were one of the first tables seated of the day, and some of the staff were behaving as if it were outside of business hours, talking and cursing loudly from the kitchen area. The ambience was fine, but the actual condition of tables and chairs was not just distressed, but damaged: slits, splits and gouges in the padded seats and tables losing their finish. If I had been wearing shorts, my seat would have hurt me. We came at opening, and I used the bathroom right away. The trash was overflowing, and there were random bits of toilet paper on the floor. I informed the manager(?), and he said ok in an unconcerned manner. I did see a female staff member go in soon after, but I don't actually know what she did in there. I ordered coffee which came in a paper cup which also surprised me since this is not a fast food restaurant. Our server Caleb was polite, friendly and efficient. The shrimp and grits I ordered had really good flavor, and the shrimp were a good size. However, although grits are cheap and plentiful, the amount of grits in the serving was pretty paltry. The bbq and veggies offered in the description were also very skimpy. If this dish had not been $18, I would not be complaining. My husband's sandwich, the L&N, had plenty of bacon, but the chicken breast was pounded so thin and overcooked so much, that parts of it resembled the bacon. Somehow a sandwich filled with so many delicious ingredients managed to be completely bland. His side of Brussels sprouts was well cooked but not evenly seasoned. Overall, while the shrimp and grits were tasty, nothing else about the visit would make us come back again. Management may need to step up operational oversight.

I want to give a special shoutout to Caleb who works at the Railyard. Recently, we reserved the private room there for a celebration of life gathering for my father. (He always made it clear he wanted a party for his friends & for everyone to have a good time.) Caleb took wonderful care of our party of 40 or more people who kept the drink orders going for him. He was so nice & quick, really good at his job. Kelsey at the Railyard was also kind & helpful in getting our event scheduled. The food was tasty and the Railyard staff made coordinating everything very easy. It was meaningful to have our gathering there since, 4 years before, we had a surprise 50th anniversary celebration for my parents in the very same room. Railyard is a great place to host an event.Vegetarian options: Have a few vegetarian options, are also able to modify their offerings to make them vegetarian.

Top notch. Food was excellent. Good craft beer and cider selection. We were seated with no wait.. (Wednesday dining and we were there just as they opened) our server was great! Efficient and not hovering. We got the Cajun cheesecake appetizer and for entrees, the scallop fish and the beef tip pasta.. very tasty… The atmosphere is very laid back. Good job folks! Glad we found this place…Parking: Seems to be a lot of free parking available.. it was nice not getting gouged for parking for a change!
