Super sad this place is closed. I visit often from Massachusetts. This place had the BEST chicken & waffles I have ever tasted. I will miss bringing my family here.

Maybe it was because I ordered my food to go, but my Belgian Waffle on my Chicken Waffle was gummy (I work literally two minutes away) and not fluffy. My chicken was nearly burnt and was kind of slimy on the inside. The fresh fruit and bourbon butter syrup were good, but was extremely disappointed with the chick and waffle. It really made me think I got good that someone else ordered and didn't pick up. I read the reviews and was excited to try them out, I'm not 100% sure I will go back.

This was a bad way to start the weekend!We tried this restaurant seeing it had good reviews, only to find out they take your money upfront, you go to the counter to order then.... WAIT, And WAIT, and WAIT!!!!If You're Looking For a Friendly Atmosphere DON'T Come Here! You Won't Find it! Very Rude People, work Here!Needless to say we waited for 40 Minutes after paying & Ordering our Breakfast, We Never Received! I asked the waitress for some toast & jelly for my husband's breakfast and she said: I don't remember what kind of jelly you ordered so your getting Strawberry!! I said politely it was Raspberry jelly. She then returned with raspberry jelly and SLAMMED it on the Counter, and jelly went everywhere?????I then went to the Cashier & said we waited for almost 45 minutes and we still don't have our food? I asked for the money back! She gave it back to me then ran after me and said it wasn't 45 minutes and she told me when I ordered it would be a 45 minute wait! I told her that she didn't, because if she did I would have walked out right then and there!!!!Don't waste your Time!!!!

OH MY GRITS AND GRAVY, this was the most wonderful breakfast with a great little atmosphere. I would have never came here if it weren't for Google Maps highlighting this as a breakfast and coffee spot. We ended up getting the Breakfast Burger, which was a little extravagant for us, but it was DELICIOUS. I wish I would have taken a picture of this, but I was to hungry to think about it at the time. We did have our pup with us, and this isn't a pet friendly restaurant, so ended up at the park in from of the river, and that was nice!IF I could go back though the one thing that I fell in love with was the friggin' POTATOES. I'm a starch fan though, so if you aren't you might think otherwise. These are sooo delicious. Okay, enough with this mouth-watering goodness. PLEASE try these. Here is the menu from the inside for attention.

Stopped here based on recommendations that were quite favorable. Ordered an egg sandwich and chicken and waffles. Average at best. Not due to staffing or being crowded. Just average staff and food.

My family (of 6) and I were on a road trip home from Florida and I found this restaurant a couple miles from our hotel. It had good reviews, so I figured I would give it a try. This is such a cute little place, and the food was absolutely delicious. I told my husband I would like to drive back here just to eat!!! I wasn’t joking. It was very steady busy, as it happened to be the morning of Mother's Day and a Sunday, but we were served quickly. I honestly can’t praise this place enough. If the owners decide to put a second one in I certainly hope they come to Standish Michigan and put one in my town. The staff was all so pleasant and working quickly. The facility and restrooms were clean and kept up, which is always a plus. This is a must visit in my opinion.

Perfect breakfast stop in Decatur. Omelets, biscuits, chicken and waffles etc. Order at the counter and they bring it to you.

I ordered the Decatur Hot Chicken Sammy. It was my first time having chicken and waffles and they were pretty good. They had a good amount of spice, but I would probably get something different next time. My mom got the Banana Bread French Toast and cleaned her plate!! She loved it and the coffee. Cute place and great atmosphere!!

I love trying new places when I visit a new city. Plenty of parking, lots of natural light, and a great atmosphere. The food was fresh and very good. If you like breakfast food, don't think twice about eating here, you won't regret it at all.

Great food fast service. We had Avacado toast, Rueben, potatoes and apple donuts! Everything was delicious. Only complaint is no napkins except the cheap one that comes with plastic silverware.
