As many times as I've been to Chedders, I haven't had a bad experience yet. The food is tasty, and the service is typically good, but they have been short staffed lately, which makes for longer wait times and overworked staff. The last time they were out of croissants, which were supposed to come complimentary, but it wasn't a big deal for us because the meal was delicious and filling.

I am so disappointed. I bragged about how wonderful cheddar’s was because I had visited one in Missouri and was completely blown away by how good it was, so I brought my best friend for her birthday and was so let down. The steak was very small and there were a whole 4 shrimp, the chicken pot pie was bland and the chicken tenders were alright. Won’t be eating again at another one in Alabama

Food & service were good. There was a moldy smell in the dining area, as if the carpet had been wet & never dried out.
Dining room was freezing cold!!! Server was prompt with drink orders but nothing else. We ordered an appetizer from the table because after we got the drinks our server was nowhere to be found. Food came out and it was ok but we had to ask about the appetizer. We asked for ketchup for fries and she grabs a bottle from another table and says I think there is a little bit in there and walks off. No attempt to bring a full one back. We finally spotted her again to request a box and then she was close to the table circling for her tip no doubt. It is really sad to see how this once thriving restaurant has just died. Unfortunately it looks like this one will fall victim to poor management and staff members that could care less if you were there or not.

Good was great service was horrible.it was apparent that we had inconvenienced them greatly.the vibes were bad starting with the hostess 40 min wait, sure no biggie we go to the bar to grab a drink while we wait. No one at the bar then the bartender who was sitting at the booth with her friends acknowledged us with "I'll help you when I am done talking care of my tables" (she had 2) a man walks in sits at the bar next to us. She walks over takes his order ?you got to be kidding me! Then she threw down a menu says figure out what you want and walks away! It's been 20 minutes just waiting for a bottle of beer,we knew what we wanted when we got there. Completely shocked I wanted to leave I couldn't rationalize what was going on. Apparently we were the wrong shade for this establishment. Then our waitress walks over and yells "I'm warning you now we don't have rolls so you don't complain " what fresh hell have I walked into!?! All this before we even get to our table. I won't even tell you about the lack of service at the table it was just poor but the food was good. We will not be back

This place is going downhill. Someone finally cleaned the fan blades which had an inch of dust. 80% of the tables were open but we had to wait 20+ minutes. At this point we opted to sit at the bar. Salads are great. Painkiller 2 drink maximum is a joke, especially when there is no limit placed on Long Island Teas which are x10 stronger. If this is truly a marketing ploy, cut it out. I feel they may be out of business at this location if things don't do a complete 180
