We really enjoyed our dinner in Dothan, Al, at Cracker Barrel last night. After driving from Fl for 500 miles, we welcomed a quiet, delicious meal. Our waitress was a quiet, young lady who did well. Hubby's chicken dumplings were so good & full of large breast meat pieces. I enjoyed my fav, the biscuits & gravy with sausage patties too. Love shopping while we wait too.Parking: We drive a Suburban & there's plenty of spaces for larger suvs.Bus & RVs parking in the rear.

In the past we have always visited Cracker Barrel when traveling but it has been awhile. Recently we had a chance to visit Cracker Barrel when returning from Florida.much to our surprise the food quality was not nearly as good. Most likely we will not return to another Cracker Barrel.

Best cracker barrel I've ever eaten at. The portions were huge. Food was sooo hot. The wattress could have been a little better considering they went really busy. The chicken and dumplings were so good. Tons of chicken. The chicken fried steak actually looked and tasted like chicken. The gravy was hot and not just dripped on top. Mashed potatoes weren't streaming hot but weren't cold.
