We just left this place. Right next to the hotel, we got seated and still 10 mins later no waitress stopped. The bartender and 3 women went by and no one stopped. The place had 3 other couples in it. Pretty bad,! We left after 15 minutes.

What a Change for the worst as compared to our past visits in 2023 (Delicious to Disaster). My wife and I visited your restaurant in Dothan on Saturday evening 3/16/2024. The place was a mess, far more unkept than I remember from last year. Here are some of the issues/ complaints I have: We had to wipe the table off before we sat down, the walls inside the booth had grease and food stuff on them like they had never been cleaned, our male waiter was wearing an absolute filthy apron around his waste and lastly our entire meal had a lot to be desired: The Awesome Cole Slaw that your served on previous visits has been pureed to somewhat of a mushy tasteless slaw without a resemblance of days past, the Catfish Filets were at best cooked in advance being barely warm and the French Fries were cold. I am not sure if you have changed management/leadership recently but cleanliness of your restaurant and your wait staff appear to have changed for the worst. Return visit not likely.. BV

Went with my family after a funeral from New Orleans had the worst service ever n tried to take tip bc me n my family sat together when we was going to top ask questions n lot of rude people come to the table got into it with them threaten to call the cops if we didn't pay there tip now calling us a bunch of animals is the owner saying so disrespectful would never ever recommend nobody to eat there thank you.alsi had kids with us n never stop the arguing r threatened the police in front of kids

My party of four all visited here for the first time ever. We arrived at about 5:30 on a Friday night.The store was clean, although the floor was sticky from what it had been mopped with.We sat in the bar area in the back, and had a really nice open view out back.Our server was nice, and did a good job of checking on us regularly.Our appetizer was the mozzarella sticks, which were really good. The hush puppies were hot and fresh, although I wasn't a big fan of the taste. That was only my personal preference. The cinnamon butter was really nice!Most of my party got fried catfish, although some ordered them within a combo. The catfish was well cooked, and had a nice flavor.Overall we were pleased with our visit, and will be back.

For starters, the Hostess had an amazing sense of humor??!!! She said, "we would love our server, Brandon," and by Golly, did we. He was so pleasant, humorous, and knowledgeable. Now, the food that dang gum Catfish was heaven!!! The sides all were wth is going on!!! Overall a great and amazing restaurant. ? ??

We were appalled at the lack of proper service and mediocre food when we dined here this weekend. We waited 2hrs to get water and that was only after we asked several times, then ended up going to the bar to get it ourselves for the whole group. Also, if you’re going to take our order, you should know who ordered what when you’re delivering the food and drinks to the table 2 HOURS later. The food was either cold, bland, raw, or overly salted. No one came back to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else or refills of our drinks. The apps we ordered never showed up, but thankfully were left off the bill, which is surprising since they didn’t know who got what dish when they were delivering them to the table. Seems like this wasn’t an “off” night for them based on the reviews. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not dine here again.

The service here is horrible we had to wait 2 hours for our food ….the food is nasty my husband 13oz steak which was 30.00 was full of fat no meat at all my fish had no flavor my cheese grits tasted burnt my lil girl chicken fingers were dry and my boys food was cold and then they had a nerve to charge me a 21.00 tip ?we paid 139.00 on absolutely garbage we would’ve came out better going to captain hooks for fish I’m never eating here again
Decided to celebrate a milestone birthday with family, and it was tarnished by unsatisfactory food and service. Waiting 2 and a half hours to get the wrong items is unacceptable. Getting Luke warm entrees with missing sides and apps is unacceptable. Having reserved the space a month before and not having the proper staff to service our party is unacceptable.

So a few weeks ago we got carry out and the food was terrible. The $28.99 seafood patter was burnt. Black burnt. Couldn't eat it burnt. Fries and all. Had the catfish po boy and the fish was burnt. So I called several times for the manager to call no call!! Now keep in mind we have eaten here several times several eat in and carry out. We were regulars!! Fast forward to tonight. We tried them again. Ordered a cheeseburger with only ketchup and mustard. Specifically said no lettuce, onion, tomatoes, no pickles, no maynaise!! Ordered a hamburger steak (they are usually really good) and a seafood platter. Mentioned the last time so asked for them not to burn it this time. Got there to pay $62.00 and mentioned again the burnt seafood platter the time before she said oh don't worry the kitchen manager is here it will all be right. Side note: I shouldn't have to open every box and check my food. I pay dearly for this food and I work hard to earn the money to buy good food. I did lookat the seafood platter and it looked fine so I said surely they can't mess up a burger and hamburger steak!! Wrong again!! Got home the burger was all the way with everything on it so it can't be eaten cause the onion and pickle flavor was all over it and plastered with mayonnaise. So I sit down to eat the hamburger steak and believe it or not it wasn't burnt but it was raw! Brown on the edges and raw. Raw red cold raw!!! So here I am fed up with restaurants that cannot listen, follow simple orders and care about the food you cook and serve. $62.00 to me is a fortune and not something I get to do all the time. I have pictures of both meals if anyone wants to see them!! Very disappointed ?

Not only is the catfish prepared PROPERLY, it’s just simply the genuine article and what you’d expect to get if you’re looking for a good ol’ southern catfish dinner. The okra is ‘da bomb’ and those cheese grits…… ooooo we! Your grandma will be wanting their recipe. Oh! And those spice cake hushpuppies with the cinnamon butter… save those for desert! You’re welcome!

First of all, I tried to call in my order. I tried 3 different times, let it ring continuously and no one ever answered. I ordered online. When I go there to pick up order, I was told they were out of sweet potatoes and baked potatoes. I had ordered a sweet potato. Was told I could have sweet potato fries, not sure where they came from. For what you spend there, very disappointing experience.
