I stopped by and ordered a pound of BBQ and a quart of Camp stew for carry out while I was in Dothan last Saturday. I took it home to Screamer, AL. I grew up eating Dobbs BBQ. It reminded me of home and growing up in Dothan. Had BBQ sandwiches and a bowl of Camp stew for lunch and dinner. They were great! #ShopLocal #

Good barbecue, nice staff. Quick and not too bad of a price for the amount of food to get. Great sweet tea.

Great BBQ and some of the most friendly people you will meet. Always try to get by there on the way to or from the beach. Love the camp stew!

Hard pass for me if I’m in Dothan again. Pork was shredded beyond recognition, dry, and devoid of any flavor. If it had been touched by smoke, I didn’t recognize it.Slaw and potato salad might as well have been off a Cisco truck dished from a 5 gallon bucket, but I think the 5 gallon bucket from Cisco probably tastes better.

Yeah I didn’t read the reviews before I spent my money here. The lady behind the counter definitely was not up to a conversation and the ribs seemed baked in the oven and don’t think you about to get some southern Mac and cheese wrong. I never thought a whole bbq plate could be not to my liking so eat at your own risk thanks…….

Great location, friendly and quick service. Quite possibly the worst "chipped" bbq pork I have ever tasted. I doubt it's even cooked there. I honestly believe it's the canned stuff from grade school.

Good barbecue and good service. I had the pork plate and it was very good. They have been in business for many years at the same location.

It was latter in the afternoon and everyone wanted to go home. Ribs were almost meatless there was too much fat left. BBQ sandwich had a tablespoon of BBQ.

It is a great place to find Gators next to Dawgs and folks rolling tide. Easy and comfortable. I will give it another try but I will try something different.

Read the reviews before you go there!!!!The lady behind the counter taking our order, did not seem to be too friendly. One word answers were given when asking about items on the menu. Must’ve been a bad morning for her so I will give her that. After we ordered food, I noticed a gentleman behind the counter, spitting tobacco in a styrofoam cup, and then shortly afterwards, handing a man a to go order in a bag without washing his hands. The spit cup was used quite often, and it was placed in various areas around the counter while I was there. I almost walked out, but I did not want to be rude and I really wanted bbq before leaving Alabama. I really hoped that he was not handling food in the back as he sometimes went there while I was waiting. I tried my best to watch his every move. Luckily he did not have his spit cup when he did go into the food prep area. I would have certainly not accepted the food it if he would’ve touched my to go bag or handled our food in anyway. I just wanted to give the food a chance. When we got in the car and opened our food the ribs looked like they had been boiled in grease that filled the bottom of the carry out plate and were very fatty and tasteless. I took one bite because I was hungry and also it was our last opportunity to get restaurant food as opposed to fast food before driving much further south. My wife ordered the barbecue chicken. It was cold, quite tasteless and seemed like it had been prepared the day before. Neither the chicken or the ribs tasted like they had been cooked on a bbq grill, but perhaps baked or warmed up and sat in grease for a period of time before being served. We realized after leaving that we did not see or smell barbecue smoke anywhere in the area upon our arrival. Needless to say, we took one or two bites, and threw everything out at the next gas station. I bought a moon pie at the gas station just so I could get the terrible grease taste out of my mouth. I only gave one star because you have to do that in order for the post button to work?. My fault. Should’ve walked out after seeing the man use the spit cup behind the counter.

An old school BBQ place that's in the perfect location to hit on the way to the beach. Lunch here was exactly what we needed after being in the car all day. The BBQ pork sandwich was great, and don't forget dessert!
