OMG this was by far the best restaurant so far in Dothan. The food was delicious and my server Amy was the best. Kept us laughing the whole time. So if you're looking for a good laid-back family restaurant with the best food around you should definitely give Golden corral a chance

Stopped in on the way back from PCB. It was a Sunday morning between breakfast and lunch. The food was good but what really stood out to me was the people. These employees were the nicest wait staff and chefs I have ever seen at a Golden Corral. I would come back just for them. Thank you team! You do not go unnoticed!

We came to Dothan from Tennessee, we have been to several Golden corrals but this is by far the best. Cashier was smiling and greeting us soon as we walked in. We sat in Amy's section and she was so attentiveness. Always making sure our drinks were full. And our table stayed clean..

My family and I (about nine of us) on 3/30/2024 came in for lunch it wasn't alot of food on the bar mostly everything was empty, the restaurant was clean we noticed the new carpet and the new place for the silverware. We had a wonderful server(Rochelle )that went above and beyond to take care of use, she kept checking on different items that were out, kept our table clear and clean, she was very pleasant and professional i could tell she took pride in her job and not only to us but to others around. The experience was great like we never left our home town. We just need to pick a better time when there's more food out.

I tried to call to just let them know but I waited on hold for 30 min so I’ll just leave it on google: I got really sick after eating here last night (Easter ‘24). I am sure it was from the baked fish as it was the only meat I ate. If anyone from the staff sees this check the food storage temps so nobody else has to go through that.
This wasn't a good experience this time. There was barely any food for what we paid. Short staffed I guess, also we could hear the employees who were there threatening to walk out behind the line. Bar was a mess. Ice cream machine wasn't working or something and someone had let it all on drain and left it there. When we tried to get plates they were dirty, barely any silverware. I was able to get a steak, but could find no steak knife. I got a baked potato, but when I cut into it, it was dark dark brown like it had been sitting on bar all day . I also love their yeast rolls and honey butter, but when I was chewing on a bite of one there was some kind of hard stone like piece of something in it, that I had to spit out. This was a favorite place to eat, but it will be a long long time before we try it again, if we do at all.

Good morning, I just would like to share my thoughts on this location, from begin a former employee of a Golden Corral in a different location, this one is a 10-10, I really enjoy going to Golden Corral’s for lunch or dinner, but me and my wife went to the first Golden Corral in Panama City, Fl last year for breakfast, hands down way better then our main breakfast stops, but the inside of that Golden Corral was about the same as the others I’ve been in, this morning we drove to Dothan Al we live in Georgia, and the moment we walked inside the front doors of the Dothan Golden Corral, I started to really enjoy the atmosphere, with Christian music playing was a hit, as we made our way to our table and sat down I looked at my wife and told her that this is the number 1 nicest, better built, has more room, just all the way around the best Golden Corral I have even been in, I look forward to coming back to this certain location for years to come, the staff was very friendly and very focused on work and not playing around on the job like most people do, the young woman that checked us out this morning at the front door register, I asked her how long has she been working there and she said 17 years, I just stood there and thought about it for a minute, she’s been here this long at this one place wow, her smile and how she greets the customers coming through the door, hands down a very hard thing to find this day and time in the world we live in today, keep up the great work Dothan Golden Corral, I’ll be back soon ( P.S. I did not get the woman’s name at the front, but we ate breakfast at 10:30 2/23/2024 that woman deserves a raise or something she was hands down the best first impression on this location that the other Golden Corrals lack. ) HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING HERE
