I order for work and for personal. No matter what they are always amazing. They have the best customer service and the food is yummy! I have to order for 4-20 people last minute some times and they always get the order done quickly and correct.

Just ate here and my while tables food was terrible and particularly mine. Fries were soggy and barely warm. My barbecue pork literally came out cold. I guess they just forgot to microwave it or whatever they do. Anyway, apart from the food being cold and not good, the barbecue tasted terrible anyway

My first time trying this establishment. The ribs were great. They fell off the bone. The onion rings were nice ?. Everyone has his/her own opinion. I will definitely be back to get more food.Tastes are different just like eye colors. Try it and judge it for yourself. ??

Cinnamon in the baked beans. Yum. Crisp not soggy cole slaw. The brisket was tasty but it wasn't greasy. I recommend the restaurant.

We used the drive-thru to pick up some Brunswick stew. It was so good! Just the thing for a cold day. The lady who helped us was very sweet, too. We’ll definitely visit again.

Grew up and live in Birmingham. Wanted BBQ and found familiarity. Golden Rule has always been pretty decent food. This location is garbage. The food had absolutely no taste. Portions were tiny. Highly disappointed. Won't go back next time I'm there.

We visited the Golden Rule BBQ as an invitation. They had a good variety of BBQ & side options. They made an effort to provide good service or recover, but they had already blown it. The chopped (not pulled) pork was tasty. The sliced brisket was not bad, but a little on the dry side & the flavor for brisket was lacking. They did not honor their menu that was provided us & posted. When we realized that the prices were different, two people initially said no problem, they would honor it. Then a manager may have come by & instructed them not to from what we appeared to see. Then they went back on their offer to honor the posted & written prices & offer no concessions of good service, other than lip service. They insisted on the higher prices & blamed it on the Corona Business. I suppose we will have to chalk one more unfortunate event to the Corona Business!

Definitely not a meal we would repeat. We got take out of 1 lb of pork, pint of beans, and one of coleslaw. The pork was ok, but had a lot of chunks of really hard black pieces in it. The sauce was awful-tasted like ketchup and vinegar, and the coleslaw was full of celery seed and celery chunks. All you could taste was celery. Plus when I picked it up I was charged more than what their menu on Facebook and Google show. ($1.50 extra for each side and $1.00 extra for the pork) When I asked about it I was rudely told that "the menu says prices may vary!" It really doesn't take much to upload a current menu picture to Facebook .

This particular location is different from the parent store in Birmingham. The brisket was dry and dense. The fried green tomatoes have a thick batter crust. I prefer light flour salt and pepper. The burgers were good. French fries were cooked hard. Franchising is difficult to maintain the same standards as the parent store.

My husband & I recently ordered take out and we were so impressed with the service and especially the food! The pork was delicious and the ribs were the best that we have had from a restaurant- lots of tender meat with just the right flavor. We would also suggest the baked beans and potato salad to compliment the BBQ. Golden Rule is our new favorite restaurant!
