The food is normally excellent.I ordered the grilled chicken strawberry salad with Feta cheese. They used cheddar cheese since they were out of feta cheese salad was not as good as normal.Atmosphere, usually good, couldn’t have a conversation with the other person due to music being too loud.

I visited Longhorn in Dothan tonight and the customer service was horrible. I called to place a To-Go order while I was driving there. The bartender answered the phone and placed me on hold but only placed the phone down. I was on hold for over 20 minutes. I actually made it to the restaurant before anyone returned to the phone to take my order. I went inside and no one was at the desk to place my order so I proceeded to the bar and asked if I could place a TO-GO order there and she looked at me and said nothing. A few minutes later the manager on duty was speaking with another customer and he turned and asked if I had been helped, I replied “No” and showed him my phone where I had been on hold to place my order. He immediately asked the same bartender if she could take my order and she looked and him and said “No, I can’t” and he asked “What are you doing right now because she has been on hold for over 20 minutes”! She never responded and he turned and asked someone else to assist me with my order! At this point I was completely over it and left. This has always been my favorite go-to spot especially when I didn’t want to cook, but I will never spend any of my money anywhere that I can not be acknowledged or assisted in your establishment. Very disheartening

We went to the Dothan Al location tonight and they were very busy, of course we knew they would be and we were prepared for a wait. We told the lady at the counter that there were two of us. The hostess told us she needed a phone number for us, so we gave her the phone number. We were going to sit out in the car to wait because there was no place for us to sit and I have a torn meniscus and needed to sit but she told us that we had to stay inside because they won’t call our phone. I’m not sure but I don’t think that makes sense at all. We left with out a meal.

In from Tennessee and me and my fiance stopped late evening. We were seated and our waiter took our order and got our drinks. Fried onion was good. We then received our main dish and I had ordered a hamburger and potato..our waiter brought my hamburger out and said "don't laugh at us, but this is the only bread we have". He had brought my burger out on the bread that they serve with butter to everyone. I asked to speak with the manager David and he said he sent it out like that because thats all the bread he had. My fiances plate was okay but the server brought his mac n cheese out 10 mins or more after our meals. Not a very good experience.

So If ever go back to longhorn inDothan Alabama? I will tell them do not addSalt on any of my meat. The rice pilaf wasVery salty. The portions were small.You know what? Never thought I would see the day when I would write a bad review for Longhorn as hubby and I have been dining here for years. I get a feeling it is a "Dothan" thing as there isn't much good food around here. Even the supermarkets are bad. Go figure.First, this location overseasons the steaks and I am talking salt. Never had that happen before. The last time we were there, they were out of mushrooms and onions for a steak topper. How do you do that as a steakhouse. They said they didn't order enough for valentine's day. Well, you just run to the local supermarket and buy them out until you get replacement.Lastly, service was terrible. Waiter came by maybe once and just the entire experience was unacceptable. Will not return to this location.

I witnessed another customer get worse service than I received so in place of leaving server a tip I paid for the other customers lunch. Hope it makes his day better since he sat there with a frown on his face and waited over 10 minutes before ever receiving his beverage or anyone taking his order
