This is my favorite new restaurant in Dothan. I think it may be Dothan's best little kept secret. I go there a lot...by myself or with different friends, to get the house soup mostly. But their chicken and rice bowl is great too, especially on the lunch menu. You just can't beat the price for what you get. The service is super fast and I've never had a bad experience with any of the staff or food for that matter. I don't eat sushi, so I can't offer any advice as to their sushi bar except to say that they do have one and I do see a lot of people eating sushi when I go, which is often. The bathrooms are nice, the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious. It's like having a little fast food version of "Hibachi Joe's" or "Mikatas" in my opinion and with fast food prices as well. The only thing better would be a drive through for the days when going through the drive though would be best for your agenda, just saying. If you haven't checked out "Oishi" yet, translated from Japanese means... "Delicious", "Tasty", or "Yummy" which is aptly named, in my honest opinion, you should absolutely go ASAP!

Just went to Sushi and ate and it was so nasty. All three of us are sick the last time I ate there I got sick. The chicken nuggets with a little boy was not even done then they were very rude about our tab. Will never eat there again and do not recommend it.

We were on our way to Panama 4 hours into our trip. Our appetite grew closer and closer to Dothan. Luckily I was looking into some restaurants and found this place. As we Arrived to the place, it looked sketchy on the outside but as we go in we were greeted and seated immediately at once. We order 3 different sushi rolls and they decorated it so beautifully and our waiter was so spot on. ☺️ plus Restrooms were clean! a bit old but definitely clean and tidy. Would come here again, thank you!??P.s.Fried Ice cream is definitely a MUST!

First time i'm ever eating Oishi sushi in Dothan. Food was very good, the service was good and it didn't take them long to get food to our table. Ginger dressing Is a bit Heavy on the raw onion, But I hate raw onions, So most people would probably not even notice it. The sushi was Very good and moderately priced. I would definitely go back again.

I had like a 3” long blonde hair in my food. Which obviously came from the blonde server. The server took my food, didn’t replace anything.. and gave me a $3 discount AFTER I ASKED HOW WERE THEY GNA HANDLE IT. No wonder their business has declined. The customer service is horrible. It use to be my favorite Sushi spot.

The decor was spiffy, but, the food and the service were lacking. The waiters gave us the wrong order and the waiter gave me water instead of lemonade when he went to fill up my cup, the first time around. The food was lacking flavor and the fish my dad ordered was overcooked. They lost us as a customer.
This was the absolute worst hibachi we've ever had. The worst. Fried rice was decent, but everything else was terrible. No flavor at all. Steak had no seasoning and tasted undercooked. The chicken was super bland and rubbery. The only options are "all you can eat", and portions are small. So, if you don't eat much, be warned this is a total waste of money. We spent $60 for 2 and barely ate anything bc it tasted so bad. I had heard others speak well of this place, so we tried it... but it must be the sushi, which neither of us eat. I don't like being negative about restaurants, but we've never been so disappointed... especially for the price. With hibachi being my favorite, this was such a let down.

As a former employee of this establishment, I wouldn't recommend eating here. Everything except the sushi is farm to table, no usda inspections or any kind of actual cleaning chemicals are used except fabulouso that's even used to clean the dishes. I would honestly prefer anyone to go to Ooka sushi in Dothan. I just can't wrap my head around half of the things I saw as a employee here!

We have been here several times now and food is amazing. Prices are really good and the service is excellent. We have had Ava, Jaleesa and a young guy (with cute long hair, lol) and they have been wonderful. Shoutout to Ava today! So attentive and sweet.I live in Destin but when I'm in Dothan, I love to eat here!
