If you are hungry for one of the best Mexican restaurants around, I highly recommend you visit Agave Cocina Mexicana. Located in Fairhope, AL., it is one of the most flavorful Mexican establishments you could choose. They go beyond tacos and burritos by creating unique dishes that you can not find just anywhere. They serve lunch and dinner daily and even provide curbside pickup. My absolute favorite item on the menu is the chunky avocado dip. This can not be found at other Mexican restaurants locally. They try to imitate, but they do not win my taste buds' vote on this appetizer. Made fresh to order with ripe Haas avocados, jalapenos, cilantro, onions, fresh lime juice, and a unique blend of herbs and spices! Another wonderful dish is the shrimp cocktail......

I don't appreciate when any company charges 3.5% credit card fee. We should have walked out then and there. We stayed because everyone was expecting to eat. Margarita was average (13.99 for medium since they don't post their drink prices.) The margarita mostly tasted like the sweet and sour syrup. The alambres were cut shrimp with bacon over the top. Not impressed. Hostess was rude. Server was nice. Companion had a burrito that was more rice than meat, didn't enjoy, didn't finish. Carne asada tacos were good. Couldn't get past the fee which set the tone and ruined the meal for me.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Baldwin County! They have my favorite chips, salsa, and queso of all time! I also love their chicken breast lunch special without spinach, it's heavenly! Great service, and affordable for large portions!

Pretty not good, staff was very helpful tho. Probably need to avoid the shrimp. The ground beef has the consistency of brown mood sand. Very subpar fajitas.

Taco shells out of a box, salsa out of a jar. No flavor. Thumbs down. This place is an insult to Mexican food.

First off, the hostess which ended up being our waitress was rude and sarcastic. She kept rushing us to order and when I asked questions, she did not even know prices of drinks and other things. I asked her how much a happy hour Margarita was and she responded, probably $4 something. No drink prices on menu. Prices are very high for a Mexican restaurant. I ordered a quesadilla and a chili relleno and my daughter a fajita for 1 and 1 small margarita, and my bill was $76. The food was ok at best. Would not recommend this restaurant seeing that there are several others in close proximity. I would try one of tge others.

I don't know how this gets a star. I ordered the Alambres... It was floating in grease. The steak is questionable, more like ground beef, and the flavor was non-existent. I may give this place a second chance down the road but my food was not good at all and my wife's was equally as bad.

Nice place with good service and big portion sizes. It's a little hard to find from the main road, but the outside is well lit to guide you once you turn into the plaza.

I had a beef taco salad, it had a lot of beef in it and was very good. My husband had beef fajita's and it seemed like it was mostly onions and peppers. My sister in law had chicken nachos with grilled onions and it looked good. My brother in law had a fish dish, he said it was tasty but not a large amount. So overall we were satisfied. If you pay cash you get a slight discount and if you use a credit card you pay 3.25 % more on your bill.

We ate outside on the patio. The restaurant was very crowded for the middle of the week but service was spot-on and food was delivered promptly and beautifully prepared. Just as important everything tasted great.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. We had a sampler platter and it was excellent! The house margarita is awesome!

The steak fajitas were bland with no flavor at all. The margaritas were lousy. It tasted like a sweet mix with no alcohol in them,. They don't post prices of margaritas on their menu because they are a rip-off at $12 -$15 each.

Good food, not great. Excellent outdoor patio area! Good service. I had the fajitas and my husband had the chicken tacos.

Wonderful staff, Alejandro was an absolute charm and very personable! Great atmosphere! Food is ok at best. The red sauce has a sweet taste which I hated although my husband loved. The meat in the fajitas was also sweet, I hated and husband loved. I just think they should let you know about how the meat is cooked. The dessert was a fried cheesecake chimichanga and it was to die for!!! All in all I was somewhat pleased. I did have a fajita and it was delicious.
