My husband and I love bens. So far I’ve had the brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, collards, and beans. I’m so excited to try the cheese steak next!My only tiny tweak would be to have more BBQ sauce options :) but we LOVE bens and their reasonable prices.

Top 3 brisket in Alabama. I travel the entire state for work and ask every owner of the car dealerships in n every town and city what is the best BBQ in the area. Today Ben’s Jr. in Fairhope was recommended by dealerships in Daphne. Worth the drive! Excellent brisket. For my taste, this is the meat I judge by. No sauce no sides. Straight protein. Ben’s is stellar. In my top 3 out of countless around the state of Alabama I try Monday- Friday while working.

Brisket is outstanding. The potato skins are super cheesy. The drinks are large and well carbonated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Parking: Depending on what kind of car you drive it can be tricky. Most of the lot is on a steep hill and when pulling out into street can scrape the bottom of your vehicle if you’re not careful.

Food is outstanding! However we did a takeout order over the phone: 2 lbs pork bbq and a side of slaw. When my husband came home, we had ample bbq and sauce, BUT we had a TINY Sauce cup size of slaw that we were charged $4 for. Seriously, that was ridiculous! So definitely go eat there but CHECK your takeout order before you leave! Management, PLEASE coach your employees when taking orders.

I love this place, but they’ve got to get their call in orders straightened up. Twice now (since they reopened) I’ve gotten my order messed up and not realized until I got home. Very upsetting when I don’t have time to return and just basically lost $15. Bens, love yall, but please get my call in orders right!
Casual fair, order at counter. The bar b que pork sandwich is still wonderful. The fries not quite as good as the old days. Hope that gets corrected...think folks still love it. They always seem busy.

First time we tried this place! It was very good! I had brisket taco and it was such a big portion! Other bbq items such as baby back rib or bbq pork was all good too! Fairhope needed something like this. :)Parking: Weirdly angled parking. And very limited parking space.

We stopped by because we saw a packed parking lot and couldn't resist that BBQ smell. We got the ribs and brisket plates. Everything was delicious, sides and all! The only reason why I'm giving them 4 stars is because of their not so sweet, sweet tea. Our drinks came in these huge ice cold jars, perfect complements to the delicious BBQ. First sip was kinda shocking. Lol I ordered an Arnold palmer, my SO ordered a sweet tea. My drink tasted like lemon flavored water. I thought maybe I was accidentally served lemonade with unsweetened tea, so I tried his. Nope, his tasted like unsweetened tea, too. Not even the lemonade that was in my drink was sweetened. I double checked my receipt and we did order sweet. People around us had teas too and no one seemed to complain. I came to check reviews to see if anyone else had a similar experience and nothing? Anyone else have this problem? Either way, we'll be back. Food made up for it. Great BBQ

So we drive over to Fairhope from Gautier and see this parking lot full in front of this little homecooking BBQ joint called Ben Jr. BBQ.Excellente food with great atmosphere and service. What a great little place to have supper!!!!
