I visited Sean's tonight for a business dinner. The place wasn't busy but it got busy during our meal. The staff was unprepared and untrained. That is not their fault. The New York Strip looked delicious, but the waiter didn't bring me a knife, nor was there one on the table, so I had to wait. When I finally got to my dish, it was lukewarm. Not great, and I expected an entree with a garnish or some side of some sort.I have been to much more affordable and casual restaurants that have much better beef.A lot to improve here, but at least the place is modern cozy and clean.Suitable for a business dinner, if you want to impress with big $$, but not great.

One of my favorite places to eat in fairhope hands down. Always an amazing experience. Great food and atmosphere. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Always so helpful and informative about anything on the menu. Chef Sean is truly incredible.

We were there on March 6, my filet and the wine were great, my wife ordered the prime rib special, it was awful. The prime rib was cold and tough, the baked potato was half cooked with no butter or sour cream. She never sends a meal back, but told the server it wasn’t good, she took it back and brought another plate with another bad piece of meat and the same cold, undercooked potato. We told her it wasn’t edible, she took it to Sean was at the bar, and I guess he told her to take it off our bill, but didn’t come over to try to make it right. We will never go back

Atmosphere was really good. Reservation at 6 and not many people there. Servers were attentive. The issue was the stark mediocrity of the food which would have been available for 200.00 less at an Applebees. Hardly a fine dining experience.

The food was good I just don't think it was great . Our server was not good at all . Seems like other tables received much better service . The martinis were in baby martini glasses . The Short ribs and the truffle fries were a hit at the table . For the price I probably won't go back I expected better .

Took my wife for her birthday and our first visit. She loved the Seafood pasta and Caprese salad. I had the Shrimp and Lobster Scampi which was excellent. The gumbo was some of the best that I have ever had (even got an order to take home for the next day. My wife had the Crème Brûlée for dessert and greatly enjoyed it. I had the Bananas Foster Cheesecake which was good but my least favorite part of the meal (I am not a fan of ginger which was in the Cheesecake). We will definitely be back even though it is an hour drive. Our server was excellent and really worked with my wife to come up with a wine that she would love.

Amazing food!!

The food was ok . We felt like the meal was a little rushed. My husband's food came out incorrectly . I feel like for the price the experience could have been better . Also told could sit at a high top but the entire time we were there no one came in for the “reservation “ that they had .

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Sean's. Appetizer of crab-stuffed jumbo shrimp was delicious. We both had prime filets, ordered med rare and medium, but were actually served rare and medium rare, which was ok because the cuts were so good. Sides of asparagus and maque choux were really good, and the dessert, créme broulée with black coffee, was a great finish.

First visit to Sean's and it was perfect! Since it was First Friday in Fairhope, we opted for an early evening (5pm). First cocktail (a perfect martini)..., and a side of rosemary herb bread. We ordered from the dinner menu - excellent, varied, many nice choices - tapas, salads, steaks, seafood, pork, chicken, pasta. We had a Sean's Prime salad and a Tomato Burrata salad, both delicious. I had the Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs over sweet pea and wild mushrooms risotto. Wonderful! My husband had the Seafood Pasta - superb! Finished with a bananas foster cheesecake... Beautiful restaurant, linens and flowers on each table, excluding the 4 high tops and the bar. We chose a high top next to the window. About 3/4ths full on a Friday night. Really looking forward to going back.

Had the New York Strip and old fashioned. It was the best quality steak I’ve had in Fairhope and the best cooked as well. Cooked to temp perfectly with a good sear. All in all would eat here every Friday night if I lived in town. I’d crown this the best steak in Fairhope. Excellent cocktails as well.

While the service and ambience were very good, the entree I had wasn"t. I ordered the seafood pasta. It was very bland as if there was no seasoning at all. Very disappointing!

I recently took my wife, niece and sister-in-law to Sean's Fine Dining in Fairhope. Very disappointed. Reservations were made and no record when we arrived. However we were able to get a high top table. The service response was very slow. The bar tender finally came to our table to get our order. 2 Blue Stuffed Crab Flounders, 1 Seafood Pasta and 1 Ahi tuna dinners were placed. The flounder meals were terrible. Very small skinless flounder and little stuffing. The fish was mealy. Both meals were half eaten. The seafood pasta was also poorly prepared. The pasta was not fully cooked and tasted like starch. The tuna filet came sliced not whole and was mediocre at best. My entire party was very disappointed. I have enjoyed various dining experiences from a variety of restaurants and locations. I was very surprised at the poor quality and presentation of our meals at Sean's. I will not return to Sean's. Fairhope has a number of restaurants that are far superior to Sean's. Don't waste your money or time dining at Sean's. You will be disappointed.....
