Truth be known I wasn’t aware that I was eating vegan until after my meal so this review is based on taste and experience. The hummus was amazing. The gumbo tasted like oily spicy warm water with brown rice. The second worst gumbo I have ever eaten. The stir fry was average. The service was average. Not a fan but I’m sure some will love this place.

The menu had so many options, but I couldn't decide. Since they're only open for lunch, we brought home food to go for dinner! So glad we found this little spot as it's vegan tailored and the only spot of its kind in our area! I'd leave a 5 star if the app would let me. They do offer meat, but every item has a vegan or vegetarian option!

What a hidden gem this place is. We are vegan and loved all the vegan options available, the service was great, calming atmosphere. They really know what they are doing with vegan cooking. We had burritos, the sides (tabbouleh, mac and cheese and hummus were all excellent) were wonderful and the dessert was so good you'd never guess it was vegan. The store was cute too. Highly recommend this place. I'd love the mac and cheese recipe if you are willing to share? Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Vegan is plentiful

Sunflower Cafe is my daughter and mines favorite lunch Cafe. We love, love, love the food but today we were very disappointed in our server, Abby. People that came in after us were served before our order was even taken. We tried to get her attention several times and she seemed to ignore us completely. It seems she knew one of the tables customers. Our tip reflected our disappointment. We will be back, but hopefully she will learn how to be fair in her services.

One of the hidden gems of Fairhope...I've eaten here many times, every time I visit from Toronto. Same owners for years. Homemade foods always and their hummus and Baba ganoush is to die for, literally the best I've ever eaten. Portion sizes are good for the money you spend. 5 stars for sure!! (And I'll be back as soon as I visit the South again, can't wait!!)?

The wrap was delicious, but the side of blue chips was very skimpy. IMO the lunch was overpriced.

The food and plating was excellent! The atmosphere was great. The menu was well defined and I didn't feel I needed to ask staff ingredients since everything was so well listed.I will say staff seemed a bit short for the amount of people there, but it may have just been an irregularly busy moment. I'd also state the amount of pita you get on the triple appetizer feels lacking for the serving of Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Quinoa you do receive. Other than that everything was delightful.
