My first and last visit to The Depot. The food was not good. Ordered Pork Chops, Cole slaw, cheese grits, and baked beans with a hush puppy. The grits were uncooked, I think they were the individual packaged ones with warm water added. The pork chop was very small and as thick as a piece of thick bacon. The Cole slaw had pineapple chunks which I didn't like. The baked beans were good. The hush puppy was terrible. No taste even with onion added. It was also undercooked. I have no problem paying $14.29 for a meal if it is good. But I was very disappointed.

All you can eat shrimp dinner and that's all you get is shrimp? No sides. They supposedly ran out. I don't live in Florala but do visit Laurel Hill occasionally. Friends that I visit there highly recommend it so we went for dinner. Big mistake! They said the lunches were great but were highly disappointed in the dinner. After reading other reviews my question is what happens to the food and service after lunch? BTW there were only 2 other tables at the time we were there and the service was minimal.

Well I just don't know..... I called 4 times no answer once then twice they answered and just laid the phone down and never returned..... then the next time a busy signal..... so they must be too busy to answer the phone.... I just wanted to know if they served pork chops...... still don't know.

Traveling through Florala and stopped here for lunch on Sunday. We enjoyed the meat n three. Good southern home cooked fare! And eating in the old train depot was enjoyable.
Ordered onion rings as appetizer, greasy and small for the price. Ordered BLT sandwich, mostly lettuce. First visit, don't think I will return. Drink got empty and had to tag down our waitress to refill.
