I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, BUT the 'side items' on the menu are not even close to being on the same level as the meat options. The meats are really good, but the sides like baked beans and potato salad is like an afterthought of just quick convenience. Hardly any seasoned taste to sides. They have a "partial" winner, but they apparently dont want to knock it outta the park.

The food was good. I love Rick's BBQ and the baked potato salad is the best.
Such a disappointing experience. We ordered some simple BBQ sandwiches, sides, and chicken fingers for takeout this weekend. There were only 1-2 guests and 8 workers that I could see. They left out the sandwiches on our first pickup. We returned to the restaurant and they forgot our sides on our second trip to the restaurant. They offered to refund our money, but we didn’t want a refund. We wanted BBQ and sides. We never got them. If you want BBQ, this is not the restaurant for you.

Great baked potatoes. Problem was I ordered the large dinner pork platter. My son ordered pulled a pork sandwich and his sandwich had much more meat. My wife ordered a loaded baked potato with chicken and it had more meat than the large chicken platter my friend ordered. The platter's are more expensive but had very little meat.Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere. Place was very clean.Wheelchair accessibility: Good parking and easy to access with a wheelchair or walker
