Everything is certainly homemade from the pot of beans to vegetables and a variety of meat, desserts and breads. It us buffet style! Loved the catfish, red potatoes and coconut cake!!! My friend loved the pork, potatoes & gravy and wholemade ice cream!!

Interesting place - very country, southern atmosphere trying to make you feel like you are in your grandparents kitchen. The buffet is $15.99 and comes with dessert. Pros- Lots of selection. Enjoyed the chicken and dressing, pineapple casserole and hushpuppies the most. Staff was nice! Cons- The place is dirty. It really needs a good cleaning and refresh - paint, fixtures, the works. The cloth napkins were (once) red and white check but were so dingy and worn. The chairs were sticky and the table cloths are old and worn out. Food wise, the okra, peach pork and chocolate mousse were particularly bad. Wouldn’t return for the price and state of the restaurant. With a remodel and good cleaning, I think it could be great! It’s obviously a popular place for the area!

This was our first visit, but it won't be our last. The food was oh so good! Everything was tasty and seasoned just right. Great variety of veggies, chicken and dumplings (yum!), Catfish, dressing, fried chicken, etc. Dessert included coconut pie, peach cobbler, and chocolate fudge brownies. Service was great. When I went to get seconds, a sweet lady whisked the dirty plates away. It was like going to Granny's for Sunday lunch.

First time for my wife and I, we were invited by our friends to lunch. What a surprise, I thought I was at my grandmas house. Plain and simple dinning area and people who acted like you were old friends. Very good food sitting on the stove in skillets and pans where you served yourself. A great selection of meats and vegetables, bread and all the condiments. Beverages too. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want some down home cooking

If you love southern country style homemade cooking , this is the place to go . This place is good in so many ways . The food is delicious and rich in flavor , its a buffet style place and its right on the money . They have all the southern style dishes and they all taste delicious and homemade .Their deserts are soo good . Its retro design with delicious food and nice staff . I like the retro items and old school design elements they keep , like in the front there is a gas station pump from 50s or 60s , in the bathroom there are posters of old (70s to 80s) car adds .I loved it . Highly Recommended . .
This place is truly the best down home, family style, Southern cooking. The food, fellowship and staff made me think of my childhood and feel like I was hope. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

If you’re looking for true southern style home cooking, this place should be saved in your GPS! The selection was great. We had fried chicken, fried catfish, chicken and dumplings, steak and gravy with all the fixins. Desserts were equally delicious. It was too difficult to choose between the peach cobbler, coconut chess pie, and banana pudding- so I had all 3!Hours are limited, so make sure you give yourself driving time and eating time! It is worth the drive (about 12 minutes outside of Florence)

Just a hole in the wall Country Buffet who has Great Home cooked meals. Very kicked back. And out in the middle of nowhere. Not a small in town diner. This is literally out in the sticks. You have to know where you are going to get there. You fix your own drinks which is in a jar mug, or to go cup. Lastly, It's nicely priced for a buffet. Will definitely go back on my next visit with my family! ???
