Taco Garage has been opened for a while but I just went for the first time a few weeks ago and now I'm addicted. I did not know they had a drive-thru until recently. I got the chicken nachos the first couple of times which are amazing and Tacos the last time I went. The tacos or well worth the money and packed full of all kinds of goodness.

I have gone to Taco Garage at least four times. Each time between visits one and three, the food was delicious! I get the steak and the chicken tacos each time- mine loaded with pico, pickled onions, jalapeños, cheese and lettuce and tomatoes. I went this past Saturday, May 6, 2020 (JUNE 6th - won't let me edit for some reason!) after calling in mine and my husband's orders. We get there about fifteen minutes later, and we sit and wait. And wait. And wait before anyone even comes to the drive-thru window. When the young girl finally comes to the window, she's rushed, shaking, seems stressed. Much like when my order was taken over the phone. We ordered two dinners of steak tacos and chicken. One with cheese and lettuce only, my husband's steak tacos. And, two chicken tacos loaded. We also had a "side" of guacamole. The combos automatically come with a side. We ordered cheese dip and chips. To say I was disappointed once we left and opened our food containers, that would be an understatement. My husband's tacos were prepared the way he wanted. Unfortunately, mine were prepared like HIS too! And the containers barely contained any chips. We usually get a bag each. This meal was almost $30, with two teas! I sit. Mind paying for food food. I'm a foodie. I love their food when it's prepared well. I hate their service, all of the time - quick and off-putting. Let's do better in making sure you get the order right for your customers, and smile just a tad. Please?

My food was awesome. The facility was very clean. However, I notice some very huge houseflies inside their windows.

I was in town visiting and really enjoyed this place. The menu was super easy to fill out.( you check off what tacos you want) I had 2 ground beef tacos and 3 chicken tacos. They were very filling and fresh. I'll be back.

We love the Taco Garage. One of our family favorites. We love the Nachos and my husband's favorite is the Brisket Tacos and cornbread.

The brisket special is fantastic! The outdoor patio was a nice thought. Helpful counter and kitchen staff - they will be happy to talk you through your choices. Great music and relaxed atmosphere.

The food here is great. Nothing I've ever ordered here has been bad. The go to is definitely the chicken soft tacos and the queso is also very good. The service is great we have been once a week every week since it opened and have not had a bad experience yet. The restaurant its self is very clean and has a good atmosphere with it. Would recommend this place to anyone who is coming to the Shoals.

Absolutely love this place! I took my daughter-in-law and granddaughter today for lunch and the food is top-notch. My granddaughter said it was the best food she ever ate and she is very picky.

Great place to have mexican food. When you walk in they come to you & explain how ordering works. You fill out menu with your items & turn it in. Service was good, food was good. I highly recommend the house sauce. (garlic,butter & wine)

Went once with a local discount card. Was told the offer was for a preset meal. Changed our order to that. Was then told it wasn't offered then, only on other days. Stayed anyhow. Ordered 2 beef and 2 chicken tacos. Got 4 beef. Lesson learned. Giving them a second star cause the employees were friendly.

So listen... the crew was friendly and opened the door, they explained their little card menus. That's the biggest compliment I have. I ordered a To-go order for a hungry man that likes tacos (6 tacos), me, and a little girl. I was shocked to find my bill at $44.00 for 11 tacos and some chips and salsa. The upscale here is incredible! I've had better chips from Aldi. The crunchy shells were just like store-bought. Steak in the tacos was dry and cold. Child's taco was alright. The to-go order took 25 minutes before I walked out the door. Folks in line after me was already getting their food. Save your money and either order from Taco Bell or make them yourself at home. SOO not worth my hard earned money.
