Nice locals-oriented place. Broad menu with lots of standards and fried seafood options. I needed to accomplish a 20 minute lunch while I was in town on business.Even though the place was packed, my server recommended a fast order and had me out the door in exactly 20 mins.

Ordered senior grilled catfish, portion was so small. Looked like 1/4 of a piece of fish cut in 2 pieces. I ask if the was correct, was told yes, you have 2 pieces. 2 of the smallest pieces I have ever seen. I ate and left hungry. LAST VISIT, they lost a local customer…..

Enjoyed the grilled shrimp and fish. The swamp soup is to die for always great. Service was excellent as always.Dietary restrictions: Most food is fried, but they have shrimp and fish grilled, but good chicken grilled sandwich.

Friendly waitress. Liked the complimetary taste of swamp soup with meal. Fish was great and hush puppies were great. Got a little surprise dessert at end of meal.
Fried Shrimp, Fried Okra, French Fries and delicious Hushpuppies, also a small serving of their famous "Swamp Soup," along with a piece of Cake of the day. All for $10.99 (they also offer a 3.5% discount if you pay with cash)What more could you possibly ask for at this restaurant that the locals love? Nothing! PLEASE, TIP your waitstaff, as these ladies work extremely hard to provide you fast and friendly service. I truly felt sorry for my waitress, as she was waiting on a table of 14 women, (while waiting on my table of 3, and another table of 4) who ran her to death, requested separate checks, and requested substitutions on different items etc. The waitress did not make any comment to me about this, but I was sitting at a very close table. Ladies, a $10 tip, left on the table isn't enough money. My table of 3 tipped $12, which was a little over 20%! If you can't afford to tip, just stay home!
Great place for a quick meal. I had the shrimp burger. Really good alternative choice for a burger. Great flavor. Swamp soup was fantastic. Comes with the meal. My daughter had a chicken sandwich. Very messy. The waitress even said you're going to need napkins. The atmosphere was dated, and overall, the look was dingy. But the food was good. And a good price. And at lunch, you get a free piece of cake. It wasn't a large piece but just enough after a big lunch. The French fries were perfect.The waitress was very nice. It was busy, yet she checked on us often.

Had to change my review today went in for a meal for my family to go order talk to a girl at the door she was nice. She told me I had to wait they had a long line at the cash register and people coming in the door I understand. I stood there for a while longer the girl emptied a bunch of tables they sat more people down to eat I waited and waited. Finally the girl I talked to come back. I asked her would it be quicker if I had a table. The woman at the cash register rudely hollered at me told me she was doing the best she could I told her I wasn't talking to her. She rolled her eyes at me so I told her hey look I can go somewhere else. So I did. The food is good here but I can go somewhere else. Very bad business go here all the time. I don't know if I'll ever go back!!!!!!!

I had lunch, ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. This burger is enormous and was so delicious that I had to force myself to finish. It also came with fries and their signature swamp water soup. All was excellent. They also have a great variety of seafood, which I have had in the past. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. If you are in the area, it is a great place to eat.
