Feelin ripped off. Their website states the apple pie is 40% ABV. Wanted to try it so I ran and grabbed some minis. Got back to hotel room and tried it. Its 20% ABV, not 40!

Loved the atmosphere! Love the $5 tasting of five different flavors of moonshine (who knew there were more than 5 different flavors? lol)Anyway the best part was 100% our bartender. He was charismatic and chatty and knowledgeable about the flavors. Definitely enjoyed our visit and would return!

Great tasting moonshine. Great staff. Staff seen to all be related and distilling their grandfather's recipes. Will definitely go again.Disappointed. Went there today 10/16/23 and the entire OWA is closed thru Thursday.Won't be able to come back to the beach until at least April or May. OWA should never be totally closed.

The moonshine is God awful now. I came here when it first opened and it was great. The shine was smooth and the flavors were awesome. Now it tastes like rubbing alcohol with some flavor. I had a friend here from out of town(the smoky mountains). So I thought I'd take him to our little shine spot. He started calling it shits creek because it gave us both the shits. Will never be back!

Such A Fun Place!!! Great Staff! We've been multiple times and it never disappoints.It's such a neat experience trying all the different flavors of Moonshine and learning different ways to mix it in drinks. The staff have great ideas and are eager to share. Just ask!The Owner, Stephen, is dedicated to his craft and a humble man. He's fun to talk with. For us, Stephen makes the visit extra special.I believe we've purchased every favor at least once. My husband enjoys making different cocktails and I enjoy baking and making candies with all the different flavors.Highly recommend Murder Creek!

Before we walked in we could see all of the palettes and boxes and were very confused if they were open or not. We went ahead and tried to door and walked in and had to walk through all of it. We did the 5 for $5 samples and for the most part the moonshine was pretty decent, not the best but okay. But the server was incredibly condescending, i don't now if he was trying to come off as cool or what but it came off like he was an asshole. Not to mention he had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth almost the entire time while serving multiple people. (I have read some of the other reviews and have seen others mentioning him.)This was Labor Day weekend and the store was pretty busy and they only had one person on staff who was serving and when anyone wanted to buy the moonshine they had had to wave him down for him to then leave the bar and go to the cash register. In all I wouldn't recommend and probably won't be coming back.

Love this place! You can do a tasting of five shots for $5 and get an idea of what you might like. They make everything in house and my favorite was the bandana pudding moon shine! Well be returning again to partake again soon. This was a nice addition to a date night.

We had a great time sampling and talking about all the great flavors and all the drinks you can make with their moonshine. Bloody mary was incredible. Stop by and give them some love and support.
