Can’t tell you what the food was like bc they were closed @ 3:30pm when we walked over from the marathon gas station where we parked our truck for the day. Didn’t want to give a negative review bc the food might be great. Also with everything going on in our country today maybe they can’t afford to keep it opened when business is slow. I wish them well. But we should for sure be made aware that they may not be opened during normal business hours and they did not announce they were closed online where we could be aware. Call firstUpdate: ate breakfast here the next morning…the Belgian waffle with strawberries and crepe was amazing! The double order of “all the way” hash browns was perfectly browned and crispy with all the wonderful flavors. There was a very minuscule amount of ham and salt but the salt was fixable. Probably better to have less salt than to much anyway. This is the first time in a long time that we finished the whole breakfast. Kudos to Waffle King. Our first time here

We ordered to go. Though the staff was nice. The pancakes were burned, eggs swimming in butter & stake had no flavor! Waste of hard earned money. We threw it ALL away! Shame on the cook with the grumpy disposition. He needs to take pride in what he does. I would never want to put that kind of food out in representation of my talent.

its funny that online it says they are open. today i stood at the door looking in as a man cleaned up and ignored me and it was only 6:18. they close at 7:00. guess they dont want any business so ill take my money elsewhere.

While staying at our camper we decided we wanted a late breakfast. Not having groceries to cook breakfast, we decided to go to Waffle King for take out. Our choice was spot on, breakfast was awesome!! We enjoyed, scrambled eggs, bacon, loaded potatoes, and a strawberry waffle! The staff were working hard to take care of all the hungry customers, but never failed to be polite, and accommodating. I think we in Fort Payne have one of the best Waffle Kings, along with the best Cooks! If you are hungry, you can't go wrong eating here!

If you're going here, you know what you're getting. A small, home like meal, some coffee and some waffles. Tends to stay pretty busy, and staff is really friendly (at least in my visits.) I never had to ask for a refill of my drink, and service was prompt.

Michelle is great. Evelyn is a sweetly, missy is a joy and gets it right. Darren gets it right. It wouldn’t work without Doug. I enjoy eating eating there most of the time.

Just came from there & they were so unorganized the waitress set our drinks on someone else's table & also with my sald...Then gave me the wrong dressing & still never gave us silverware to eat withdid the same thing with my salad.
