UPDATE: I had a very pleasant exchange with the event coordinator. She acknowledged the need for staff to be more customer first and that equipment was being repaired. I feel that The Alley is on the right track and look forward to our next experience there. OP: We bowled here for an hour and there were several lane breakdowns, one that lasted over 5 minutes. We also had to press the reset multiple times as the pinsetter would drop pins. We asked for more time to finish 4 frames and the cashier stated that she had added all the time she would. I'm not sure if that was her decision or if she wasn't given the authority to compensate for the inconvenience. There were 2 other lanes in use at the time, it wasn't at all busy. The building and the interior seem to show an investment in the experience, a customer first approach.

Went to a birthday party for a soccer teammate of my grandson...6 and under. The party rooms are small but it was fine, all the kids loved the bowling, when we had time in the arcade there were lots of teenagers running through, not seeming to care who they ran into. When an adult would ask them to allow down and look where they were going, they ignored it.

Bar has few options. They use sunny d in drinks that are supposed to/are advertised to have orange juice. Less and less games as time goes on that don't solely recolve around tickets. More video games please. Friendly staff

Great place for birthday parties and to have a great time. Didn't give five stars just cause alot of the arcade games wasnt working other than that awesome place and staff.

This place has really went down hill, the lanes are really bad and when the gate comes down after the first ball it knocks a couple pins down lol , don't bet your brother's on lane 17 lol I'm not going back.

They had 4 open lanes but refused to let us bowl because they were afraid the other lanes would break down during league. Drove over an hour to get there. We use the Alley to practice for the World Games but will find another place! Ridiculous

Didn’t take long for this place to go under. Half the lanes aren’t working , the pins will count knocked over for no reason. And the arcade games are always broken. All the money put into this place and what they charge and can’t fix it

We only played video games this time but is was a good first experience at the Alley. Very busy but very clean and the air conditioning was nice and cool.

The Alley is a very cool concept and venue. It's something that is actually good for Gadsden. My boys love going here when we visit. We enjoyed our last visit for the most part. I took my 9 y/o there Thursday. He wanted to bowl and play games. I got a burger to eat while I watched him. The burger was undercooked, badly. It also had a bad taste to it. I told the person at the desk, and he said he'd "tell the cook". Overall, we had a blast. Food is not good at all.

Just want to thank Abby Neely for being very nice and kind on 6/19/23, she made our time at the alley worth coming and spending time.. everyone in business should have an Abby Neely..Thank you..

We really started to enjoy it and have fun until our lane broke 4 diff times and it took over 10 minutes 1 time and 5 or so on the others and they still counted that on our hour to play like hey even though it's our fault our stuff broke it don't matter if it interfere with ur game

It's oK, biggest gripe is there's no pro shop. Really needs a pro shop. The auto scoring didn't seem to be especially accurate either. It's tough to tell whose turn it is and keep up with gameplay sometimes. Just been once, we ll see if it s any better when I go back.

Worst bowling alley I have ever been to. They really need to focus more on the maintenance of their lanes and less on all the bells and whistles.. the lane took forever to reset after each bowl, the balls got stuck, the pins weren't counting. If you are truly wanting a real bowling experience, don't go here !

1st visit - The lanes were booked for a bowling league so we didn't get to bowl so we decided to let the kids play the arcade but over half of the games are broken.2nd visitLegendary Birthday Party -Let me first say that I feel like this is a great price for 18 people and for the fact that I didn't have to set up or clean up my party. We just provided food and presents and everything else was handled. Our Party planner was very sweet, helpful and overall amazing. The bowling lanes are another story. 2 of our 3 lanes malfunctioned SEVERAL (like almost once every frame) times during our bowling time and the staff working the shoe rental area was not the friendliest to deal with. It did appear that the majority of the arcade games are back in great working order from the last time we were there.Overall it is a great price but when you are spending that much money with a business you expect the equipment you're using to work properly.
