“We came in after a slumber party with 5, eight year old girls and 3 mamas! The workers AND guests were incredibly sweet! We needed 2 booths and a man generously said he was practically done and gave up his booth by a vacant one, and we chatted for a bit before he left. The service was great! He got all the moms and girls orders fast, correct, and did so with the most accommodating attitude! “Exactly what I expected for this restaurant, hot buffet with home style cooking. Is it gourmet or fancy? No! But it's not meant to be! It's meant to be hot comfort food. The omelette bar was great, like someone cooking for me at home. We went between breakfast and lunch and got both type of food. It had eggs, corned beef hash, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, on lunch side fried chicken, rice, green beans, gravy (I forget the other items). I love the selection and good tasted good to me. The price has gone up a bit than their website, ~$16 an adult, in case anyone is wondering about price.“

“Everyone was nice from the time we walked into the building until we left. The waitress kept coming back to ask if we needed anything. The food was cooked to perfection. The best country ham I have had from a Waffle House in years. I was offered a take-home box, syrup, and utensil without even asking for it. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.The menu offered a wide variety of options, and we were delighted by the diverse selection of dishes available. When it came time to order, our server was not only attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu. I asked for a recommendation, and she suggested the strawberry cheesecake pancakes with eggs, a meat and a side. Let me tell you, they were absolutely divine! Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I couldn’t get enough.Overall, our visit to The Gulf Shores Diner is now one of my new favorite places.
