We went for desert. Apparently, it's best to make reservations!

The definition of bad service will ruin a good meal. The location is stunning, it’s a beautiful restaurant, don’t order the crab cakes (very little crab), skip the fried goat cheese, the oysters are great, as was steak. Other items were just ok. However, being ignored for the first 20 minutes, having to go seek out a server, then a meal that should’ve been an hour and a half turning into a 3 hour slog because of the slowest service I’ve ever experienced, we will never go back.

Came here as we were staying Fort Morgan for the week. The ambiance and location is very nice, right on the beach! The service was a bit slow but okay for us. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp and bread for the table. I then ordered the shrimp and grits which were pretty good. My husband got the tri-tip steak which he said was good.

The food and service were both superb! The restaurant was clean and bright with great views of the Gulf. The food options were varied and all sounded amazing on their seasonal menu. The shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had. The goat cheese/honey appetizer was delicious. The charbroiled oysters were so flavorful. And the deserts were a perfect way to finish off the perfect meal. Our server was attentive and kind. We had a lovely experience and look forward to coming back.

I tried to call this place several times and got no response to voicemails. 12 hours later I still have not. We were seated at a table with 0 view. We asked for a table near a window. Host sort of glanced around and moved us to the next table over. Still no view. The people that came in behind were seated at one of the open window tables. The rest of the open window tables remained unseated. The food was pretty good, that's all. Service was very lousy. Our server Ashley took several (8 ish ) minutes to greet us. We ordered drinks that took at least that long again to arrive and then only 2 of the 3. The third was several minutes later without explanation. Our server was not very attentive and then suddenly dropped the check, dirty dishes still on the table. The food was not good enough to outweigh the lack of service. We tipped 20% because we were servers all of our lives and that is a low tip for us. I would not go back. By the way 6 oysters does not make a oyster basket. Over priced.

Nice, clean, beautifully decorated. Food was excellent. One point off for their absolute inability to pivot in a reasonable way to accommodate dietary needs. I ordered the snapper. It comes with a crab Dijon cream sauce. I don’t eat crab and so asked if I could have it without. I was told no. No one in the kitchen could do a cream sauce on the spot? That just seemed odd to me. Luckily the snapper itself was seasoned every nicely and so had some flavor, but I would have loved to try the cream sauce.Dietary restrictions: To me they weren’t great at accommodating dietary restrictions

They have Bud Light on their menu. When I went to order it, the waiter was quick to Tell me that they do not carry any antheiser Bush products.

We had the brunch on two different occasions. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was very good. The second time we met with friends and were seated right by the window on the gulf. Absolutely beautiful view. The only downside is the parking is so far.

We had heard rave reviews about the avocado & toast only to be surprisingly disappointed because it wasn’t fresh smashed avocado. It was very obvious to be pre-packaged “guac” as it had onions in it as well and the all-too-distinctive taste of tangy odd tasting packaged guac does. This would have been phenomenal if it were freshly mashed! Any foodie would be able to immediately distinguish the taste.

Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great, just alright. I don’t know if I’d go back. Nothing really stood out as fantastic.

We had a wonderful dinner on a Saturday night. There were four of us, each ordered something different, all wonderful! The fish, steak and sides were all delicious. We even shared the pecan Crème Brulee, which was also amazing. Our server, Abigail was awesome! Smart, friendly and very responsive to our meal and needs. This is one of our favorite places to eat when we come to Gulf Shores and we will absolutely be back!

Food is great, missed the cookies for dessert but tiramisu was a great substitute. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that it is very noisy due to tile floor & rude snow bird customers.

I love the fact that there were two restaurants in this hotel - very convenient. We had two meals at Foodcraft: Valentine's Day Dinner and breakfast the following day. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with wonderful fruit and an egg/omelot cook to order to station. The dinner was good. We had a good value Valentine's Day special. My wife's steak unfortunately was not cooked to order. Otherwise it was a good value.
