If I could leave a negative amount of stars I would.First the drinks are terrible. Second they make you wait a ridiculous amount of time and are rude to finally have you sit.I order 12 oysters I get 6……I order a frise salad I get a Caesar…..I wait 40 minutes for my entree. It never comes! The manager comes and explains, “we’ve gotten through the brunt of it and yours is next…” the place was nowhere near full!!!! I never got my entree after another 20 minutes of waiting I asked for my check and left. The only positive I have to say is they didn’t charge me for my entree. Do yourself a favor DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. There are too many other good choices. What a terrible experience. Worst dining out of my entire life. Nice job Perch…….

We waited 30 mins for our cocktails. Four tables were seated after us, and received their main course long before we did. Our table was next to a malfunctioning exterior door that my husband had to close dozens of times. The menu states to let them know if you have a food allergy, and so when we asked for side dishes to be on a separate plate for that reasom, we were told, "Im not sure the chef will like that". We finally received our food and it was incredible. It's a shame that it was overshadowed by the frustration of everything we just mentioned. Not the $380 experience we were excited for.

Delicious and great atmosphere and views. Great service by Oksana and the seafood tower did not disappoint! The scallops and pork belly is a must have. Incredibly delicious! The chocolate cake was a fantastic finish to the meal, too.Kid-friendliness: Our kiddos really enjoyed their meals, too. Kids steak and fries was tasty, they were able to modify the fettuccine into just buttered noodles, and my son shared the snapper with my husband and they both loved it.

It took over an hour for our food to arrive and it was just ok and pricey! The chocolate cake they gave us for a birthday was fabulous and definitely the best part! Probably wouldn't go back!

Our 5th time eating at The Perch over the last 3 years. By far our worst experience. Server kept apologizing that it was a “full house” and everything was going to take much longer to come out. She was right — service was delayed from the start with our warm white wine delivered to the table quite late and apps arriving much later than would be normally expected as well. Main course and even desert were ridiculously delayed, to the point we finally took our cake to go. What I don't understand is the restaurant surely would have known the number of guests based upon reservations—and isn't the whole point of running a restaurant to have a full house every night?! Why is this an excuse for slow service? Why not staffed or staged appropriately? Very difficult to tolerate when a $300 bill arrives for what we planned as our penultimate dining experience for the week—and my birthday! I had believed The Perch to be the finest restaurant in all of Gulf Shores / Orange Beach / Perdido. Disappointed enough in this experience I'm not positive we'll go out of our way to revisit.

We brought our two children (7 and 9), which was a challenge for our picky eater. But you don't come here to feed your kids. You come to experience delicious food with local ingredients served by warm and welcoming staff. We had the seafood tower, which had fresh seafood, including lobster, shrimp and oysters that were all fresh and delicious. The Ceasar salad was good (not great) but the chicken with cheese and prosciutto was delicious in a creamy sauce with peas and other greens. There were too many delicious items to pick from, so we're going back! Lamb, steak and pasta are all calling for us!Kid-friendliness: Definitely accommodating for kids, but the menu is missing chicken fingers and other basics for picky eaters

You HAVE to do something about the noise level!! The noise level in the restaurant was so bad I could barely hear my dinner companion or my server!! I dine out frequently and have never had anything this bad. The server had to repeat herself many times; she kept apologizing but this was not her fault. Loved the service and the food.

Food and service were fantastic! We shared chilled shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, grilled shrimp, octopus, stuffed chicken, and shrimp pasta. All were delicious but the octopus with chorizo and potatoes were my favorite. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to the beach!

My husband and I had dinner here for Valentine’s Day. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. I had the stuffed chicken -not my favorite however, my husband had the filet mignon and it was Great! Best I’ve had in a long time. Price was a bit expensive but atmosphere was nice and the waitress was wonderful. I believe our meal was $148 prior to tip. If it matters, there is a long walk to the restaurant from the parking lot.

Great food! Porterhouse steak special was fantastic. The Filet is always good, super tender. We didn't know Thursday nights are “date night” and live jazz music to top it off. Such a great night. We have never had a bad meal at Perch and keep coming back

We loved the ambience and plan to go back. Unfortunately, our service wasn't what we'd expected at a high end restaurant. It was my birthday and Valentine's Day. We put that information on our open table booking. Our server never acknowledged it being my birthday. Our steak was supposed to be medium rare...definitely was more medium. We asked for no croutons on our salad...we got croutons. They ran out of the complementary chocolate covered strawberries...no apologies. Hopefully things are better next time.

The service was great, Albert was a wonderful waiter. The food came out very fast, very pretty, and yummy, too. The pork chop was so good and big. They had a beautiful view of sunset. The outside seating was very nice with some fireplace. We had a great time and definitely will come back if we were in town again.Parking: It's a little walk from the parking to the restaurant.
