Great location...once we discovered it! She has premade grab and go meals. Lunch sandwiches...soups and snacks are so convenient for the beach goers. Daily specials for dinner items are very popular and you can order early. Owner and employee are always pleasant. Chicken salad is my favorite. Chicken and dumplings is the husband go to for the dreary rainy evenings for dinner.

We are camped a short distance from Sarah's. We have purchased a lasagna roll up meal, delicious cookies, delicious chicken salad & broc salad. I don't think you could get anything bad here!! Prepared foods for you to take & go meals in coolers for you to shop with multiple assortments small & large.

We got the chicken pot pie and it was terrible! The vegetables tasted like cheap frozen vegetables that you can buy at the local grocery store in the frozen food section. The chicken was chewy and bland. The crust was tasty though. Marie Callender's is so much better at a cheaper price and I'm not a fan of it either. For the price I expected much more! Not home made! We also got the lasagna roll ups and they were just okay just a little bland. I had high expectations for this place. I'm all about good food, but not when you over charge for bad food. For the price I expected something great! Vert disappointed!

We were in Gulf Shores for vacation and my daughter had ordered her husband's favorite banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery in New York for his birthday. The delivery was delayed and it was ruined so we searched to find something local. We were delighted to find Sarah's Homemade. It was an attractive , clean store with all kinds of goodies - we bought the pudding as well as a key lime pie, lemon bars and double chocolate cookies. Everything was delicious and the family agreed the pudding was every bit as good as the NY version. Prices were great too. I wish we had this place in St. Louis.

Mostly good, but the vegetables in the Shepherds pie and pot pie are always under done lately, and the meatballs in the meatball stuffed shells are clearly previous frozen meatballs. We purchase Several of the casserole 3 to 4 times a month for dinner, and the chicken and pimento salads often.The chicken salad, pimento and lasagna rolls are our favorite. We have purchased Thanksgiving/Christmas dishes for the last 4 years and love them all. Only posting a review because I'm hoping some of these things will get back to the 5 star quality we came to expect.

I went in to Sarah's shop today I was on my lunch break I go in often.But I purchase one of the chicken salad today the cashier put salad in the bag and handed to me without crackers so i ask could i get some cracker she gave me this weird look and put three pack in the bag that equal to six cracker. That's telling me that you long needs my money because I will not be returning

Wonderful food, homemade and fresh. Owner is friendly and goes out of her way to make anyone who goes there feels like family. Friendly staff. I work at HR BLOCK next door and she has been nothing but a delight to our staff, who loves to eat there.
