Would have given 5 stars across the board had they not advertised a gluten free crust for their Flatbread then told us they were out after we'd ordered. The gluten free crust on their online menu was pretty much the only reason we chose it.Great location & view though.Dietary restrictions: Call & verify before you go as we fell victim to false advertising about gluten free Flatbread crust.

We love this little pool/grill bar at the Hilton. It is a definite stop every time we go to Gulf Shores. The food is so good and comes out quick and hot and they are so accommodating with any requests. Grab their specialty margarita and a mojito, sit on the porch to watch the happenings out in the gulf.

The Dragonfly is now the kitchen for the outdoor bar at the Gulf Shores State Park resort. It is a nice setting with a great view of the beach. We had dinner there while watching a football game and had a couple cocktails and a chopped Cobb salad and a conecuh dog. The drinks were watery and used high fructose sweeteners - based on my wife getting a headache as she does when ingesting those sweeteners. Alcohol in the drinks was barely detectable. The Cobb salad was OK - not bad for a bar salad. The $14 conecuh dog was micro - about a 4" piece of sausage, ample but greasy grilled onions and peppers, on a typical hot dog bun. About $60 for a mediocre meal. Won't be going back unless it's just to enjoy the view.

Sat at the bar and had excellent service (even though they were busy). Drank the Lodge Rum Runner and Shock Top Beer. Ordered the Flat Bread Mighty Meat and Fried Pickles. Both were great. If you are staying at The Lodge at Gulf State Park, you can't go wrong with The Dragonfly!

The entire place is 5 star. Much nicer than staying at a condo where you have to live just to buy a coke. They have EVERYTHING on site!! Even I've cream ? and coffee! Full walking/biking waves to ALL the GSP facilities, trails and parks! I've stayed at many places say the beach and this is my new fav! Outside bar with LIVE music every night. It's not hot either. Wind blows and keeps you sweat free regardless of the temperature. Thanks Kay Ivey!

I feel that as a paying guess ( with one vehicle ) that you should not be expected to pay to park as you do for everyday you’re there. You also have to request your room to be cleaned and new towels to be replace everyday.
