High end southern cooking. Everything really is exceptional! I mean exceptional! The quality food is good adn the cooking is from a world class chef. It is southern cooking with a flare. Even their chicken tenders were exceptional. It may be hard to mess up chicken tenders, but it is also hard to make them exceptional.
I ate here last Sunday for the very first time. I had seen the chef on WBRC several times and I always wanted to come. I ordered all veggies from the Soul Food Sunday menu. When I took the first bite of the mac and cheese and the cornbread muffin, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I have never eaten any food that compares to the food here. Now, i will need to come another day in the week to check out that menu. Needless to say, I will be going back soon.

Also, doesn’t hurt that chef James is easy on the eyes. But seriously, the sweet tea alone. Mmmm mmmDon’t sleep on this spot. You’ll regret it.
