This place was a pleasant stop on our weekend road trip. I am a softie for the good old classic small town breakfast cafe and Gear Jammers fits the bill. Food is awesome - perfectly cooked like they give a darn, the inside is nothing fancy or pretentious, and the service is wonderful. Bring cash - they take cards but charge a fee. The prices are great, and you can tell that this is a favourite morning breakfast hangout. They're only open for Breakfast and lunch, but it's worth the stop. If you like real small town American (American Loving) good food cafes then this is worth the visit. In fact, I'll plan my next trip around breakfast just so I have a reason to stop in! You should too.

Bee weary, they like too overcharge then she wanted to argue how many drinks when she didn't Even serve you drinks ? ? I had 2 BTW overall food is good though

Exploring Alabama and found this quaint mom and pop restaurant for lunch. The waitress (sorry didn’t get her name) was very attentive to all customers and stayed on top of everything. I had a blt and the loaded hashbrowns and my hubby had a patty melt and plain hashbrowns. Both were good and filling. I recommend stopping in for a bite if in the area. Sorry I ate half of my lunch before realizing I forgot to take a picture.
Good food, good coffee, friendly waitress. Enjoyed the small cafe feel. Definitely will become a regular when we move to Alabama next summer.

We stopped at Scottsboro AL on a road trip and was looking for a place to have lunch. Gear Jammers showed up on a google search, and we were glad to have found this place. It's a small local diner/dive along a strip mall, but the place was clean, service was good, prices were reasonable, and the food was great. We ordered a club sandwich and a breakfast plate that came with huge fluffy pancakes, that in my humble opinion, easily out beats IHOP, lol. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
