I visited this location for my hour long lunch break. The lady at the register was so kind and sweet, she was polite and helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. After I ordered, I waited for my food for 40 minutes, and while I waited I witnessed everyone else wait just as long as me. Not to mention, a lot of ordered got mixed up and people received the wrong orders. This location is severely understaffed, but there was no sense of urgency and no apologizing for the long wait. I love McAllister’s, but I will not be returning to this location. It is 5 minutes from my job and I was 10 minutes late when I got back with my food that I waited so long for, and didn’t even have a chance to eat.

This McAlister’s is the best in Birmingham. The customer service is always amazing when I go. Delicious food. Always attentive and quick to serve others.
This spot was reasonable when it was next to Lowe’s. The poor service at the new location is absurd - counter employees are clowns and tables uncleared. Awful.

I have been to this place twice now in 4 months. Both times they had a full crew, and not a lot of customers, but still somehow they were slower than molasses. No joke, both times I waited (after placing my order) 40 minutes for my meal (I only get an hour for lunch), and both times I only ordered half of a sandwhich and a potato. That is just tragic and awful. Would not recommend this place to anyone, but to anyone who decides to go still be prepared to wait a while for no apparent reason.

What a pleasant experience. We were excited to see this new McAlisters down from where an old one once existed. We always loved the tortilla soup.We came in behind a large group of older ladies all decked out in their red hats ;) The young men waiting on them were AH-mazing! They were so patient and respectful with each one, and it was worth the wait to stay behind this group, even though we had only a short timeframe.Our hearts were blessed and the food was great!! Our service was wonderful, too!!

This location was slow today. After 30 min of waiting for a club for dine in, I watched them take it to the wrong table, leave it, and then go back and try to give it to me. I asked them to re-make it. They asked if anyone touched it. I still can't guarantee they did because instead of me seeing them trash that one they took it to the back and came out with one in a box. Shortly after they told another group they were not taking any more orders they needed a break. Very bad experience. They didn't offer me a discount. I almost asked for a refund and left the food but I didn't have time to get anything else. Overpriced and not worth the visit.

The salad was average, I guess, but our soups were cold. I took our soups back to the counter, told them it was cold, and someone took it back to nuke in the microwave for a few seconds. They brought it back to the table and it was STILL COLD. How could that even happen?I told myself I'd not be back to a McAllister's years ago because food is just boring but I promise myself this time.
