This is the ONLY Mcdonalds i will eat at. This one Mcdonalds has restored my faith in this fast food chain. Ive been to this mcdonalds over 50 times because most of the time the food is fresh and amazing unlike every other one.

Instead of taking orders, the employees are walking around staring at their phones with 10-12 people in drive thru and me inside. Terrible attitudes, I thanked them for my food and they couldn’t even acknowledge that. I thanked them again and still nothing, they just stood there and looked at me. I asked for a fork and thanked them again and nothing.

Without a doubt, the worst McDonald's in the Birmingham area. I just wasted $10 on food I'm thinking twice about eating. Pictures attached. Every time I've been here, their "shake machine is down," and everyone working there acts like they are too busy on their phone to look at you, work, or greet you. They only have half a menu available because the screens are broken. The building looks like it's already falling apart, and I believe it was renovated not too long ago. The manager must be just as lazy as everyone working there. Save yourself the trouble and drive another 10 minutes down the road if you want McDonald's.Kid-friendliness: The employees cuss at each other while talking at normal volume.

February 16, 2024I went back, why? This is disgusting. I asked for extra pickles, and this is what I got. Sloppy and nasty. Never again.. Close this store.Reference the pics.The pits! Should be closed!!! Always something wrong with the order...The Thornton's hire anyone, not qualified applicants...Also slow as hell!!!!! MY SON GOT ILL OFF OF A CONTAMINATED SALAD...

Service was fantastic and quick while management was here the other day.Today though is a different story. Looks like there were only 2 people working. Ordered at 3:39 and didn't get the food until 3:52. Not a huge deal, but then I had to wait at the counter for them to get us our drinks. They were flat and the customer service was sub-par at best. It's a shame they're capable of great service when management is on site. But then revert to this once they leave.

For the past TWO weeks Ive tried to order McDonalds through the Drive-Thru and gotten the same excuse from the same employee its a young man African American , the time is usually 2AM-3AM since I work overnight and after sitting on the speaker for 5 minutes no greeting he cuts on to say “Our system down” when I asked “how long does it take to reboot ?” I’m totally fine with waiting since there’s nothing else open this late he proceeds to ignore me and I watch him go out the door to smoke . I leave and try again the next day and same excuse . every night they say the system is down whats the point of being 24/7 if you’re going to just close when you want. At least come up with a new lie .They also shut off mobile orders but not DoorDash most fast food places i know if the system is down NOTHING can get through it just sucks i had to go home and DoorDash Mcdonald’s and spend more money just to eat when I was there in line if their is a specific cut off time please post it so customers can know. If its low staff then management needs to step up. It’s getting ridiculous one time they took my order but left out my fries i drive around and wait at the speaker and they instantly yell “system down” I had to remind them i had just left and they said “oh my bad” . Please step it up .
Menu doesn't work in drivethru. Everyone doesn't have menu memorized. Lady on headset said they don't have any deals. The two mcds down the road have specials... Not surprised this is what I get on Lakeshore ?

Watch your money here! I’ve been to this McDz now 3 x in the past 6 months and every single time (different guy) they have tried or have stolen from me.First time he didn’t give me my change, I had ti ask for it (it was like $8) second time same thing but he argued that I only gave him a 10 when I actually gave him a 20. And today just now my total was $5.49 for 10 pc nugget and I gave him $6 ones and he said, “do you have .49¢, I said yes and dug it out and waited for him to hand me a dollar back and of course he said I only gave him $5.Either they are purposely stealinghere or they all are just dumb.

Edited on 12/4I've noticed that this location has really stepped it up lately. Food is fast and fresh. Employees are friendly. This is now my go to location.Ordered via app. Wait was not long, however when the food runner (whom we later found out is named Woody) brought our food out, he rudely informed me I was parked in the wrong spot. I didn't see rhe curbside pickup spots bc they were on the other side of the parking lot. I didn't even notice the sign said "reserved for drive thru". Most Mcdonald's have all the spots together. On another note,they were not busy so thr spots were not needed. I do not appreciate being reprimanded like a child. He needs to work on his tone. But probably not going to happen since their are other reviews that say the workers are rude.I have no plans to return to this location.

They seem to play alot. The last 2 times we were there we ordered 2 bundles and only got 1 burger both tines in the same day.
