I have only had the ribs, but they were outstanding. My favorite restaurant ribs have been Dreamland. I think the seasoning at Rodney Scott’s is better than Dreamland. The ribs are a little more tender at Rodney Scott’s but they are not over cooked. I really like the Other sauce - sweet and spicy. I keep thinking I need to try their pulled pork since that is what they are famous for, but I can’t pass on the ribs. I have also only had to go food, so I can’t comment on service...read full review
Everything was quite amazing pricey but to be expected and the portions were very generous. Definitely can taste the care and consideration in the food. Also, most places that have good BBQ have pitiful sides, the sides here are on par with the food and they were excellent. Catfish filets are very delicious as well.Kid-friendliness: Easy going place for kids.

Southern Hospitality in America is real... we took a drive-by to Rodney Scott’s BBQ, here in Homewood, Alabama, to try our luck at 8.30am (service 11am). Looking like a couple of weirdos peering through the windows, the manager, Aaron Shoop, came out to see what we wanted.
